I think we have $5m in cap room if we don't retain DWill.
I'd at least reach out.
He's a better risk than Foye. I doubt the knicks even look at him. He is too young and does not have playoff experience.
would like him on a 4 year vet minimum deal

Wishful thinking.
Id give him a 3 year 18 mm$ deal in an hour. We need a back up PG badly with Rose and Curry proved over 70 games last year he could not only do that--but hes good enough to be in a 9-10 man rotation full time. It would be a keen signing and well you never know if Steph Curry ever gets disenchanted with GS for some reason--having his brother would be a foot in the door. But I doubt we do that--well somehow end up with 39 year old Pablo Prigioni because the sense is he can defend

Curry can play in 3 guard sets he can start PG when Rose is down he can play along side Rose or along side Lee because he can interchange 1-2. He spreads the floor he can pass hes a decent defender hes 6-2/6-3 cerebral it is what it is
C'mon PJax, play the long game. Do whatever it takes to sign him. That's how you reel in Stephen next year.
[sarcasm filter off]
i'd like him here too. another son of a solid ballplayer. likely he is quite coachable.
It looks like he can shoot. Can he play any defense?

No defense whatsoever. He can shoot the lights out though. Worth a gamble. It's worth noting that if not for his brother he'd be in Europe or Tel Aviv.
I would offer him a two year deal with a player option in year 2. $5m per year. That's paying him as if he were a high lotto pick. If he does really well he can opt out for more money.
6 mil per year for 3 years Briggs? Aren't you saying that the League is overpaying? He's not worth more than 3 mil per year, and that is pushing it. Many guys can shoot. The lack of defense is what makes it.

He is also a pretty good passer. Not good on D and has very limited athleticism. Definitely has that shooting gene though.

You're joking with that part, right?

I would love for them to sign Curry cause the two names i've heard they're looking at are R.Foye and Tim Frazier and i'd rather Curry over either of those two.

I wouldn't say he proved much over 70 games because he really didn't get any floor time for most of the year and didn't do much with the time he did get but the last month or month and a half he really showed out especially after G.Karl made the comment that he wouldn't make it in the NBA and Cousins stuck up for him.

At least frazier can play a little. Im not sure if foye has anything left.

George Karl praised his D earlier in the season. Not sure if he was serious or if he was taking a shot at Rondo.

If you have league pass they still have games from last season available to watch. I just watched a couple of the games he started late in the season (I admit I just watched the condensed version of the games so a lot is cut out). I definitely didn't see what Karl was describing.
Begley saying that Knicks have interest in Tim Frazier. That's a hopeful sign.
