The best post of the thread. Cant blame a guy for wanting to win
I don't get why people aren't allowed to dislike KD's decision...
disliking the decision is fine but some are wishing him injuries and calling him a piece of shit and stuff. Im not saying you have to like it but he didnt do anything terrible
1 guy said that but you've been relentlessly trying to correct every other person in the thread that was unhappy with the decision. It is an annoying move. Yes, for him it gives him the best chance to win and get a ring before his prime is up but for us that want the league to be more competitive it's not fun to watch. Same way that when Melo signed back here for that large contract and no trade clause, guys like you were up in arms about how unfair it was but, like you said, he was doing what he thought was best for him which was keeping his son in NY and getting a lot of money in the process. With that said, I know I'll be tuning in to their first game come October.
im not trying to correct anybody. You always try to pick fights with me and im not dealing with that crap today. Its july 4th and i want to enjoy it with my wife and kids. Later

This is the part I really don't respect. KD is going be doing some heavy lifting if GSW wins a chip. He'll probably be their second leading scorer - maybe their leading scorer.
Some washed up vet goes to be a 5min per game backup to get a bogus ring? I don't respect that at all.
If they've had a respectable career but dont have that much time left in this league, I cant blame them. Winning a ring, even as part of the bench will give players opportunities post career they might not have without one. If its Nick Young doing it, I would feel differently because he's never had much respect for the game.
Good for him. This should take a lot of pressure off him and Curry in playoff games. I think it will be less likely either one "chokes" now.
Big question is - does GM Lebron respond by having KLove traded?
I think he will.
Question is - who will Cavs go for in a Love trade? Would Boston still want love now that they have Horford?
It's a Festus for the rest of us!

seriously?
I think so. The guy is always tough on the press but he seemed to live in a bubble. The gloves are off now. LeBron got killed for it and he left Cleveland. Cleveland got the #1 pick the first year after Lebron. They went from 61 wins to 19. I think OKC makes the playoffs next year.
Not wishing injury just referring to hate.
he wished he would get injured which is messed up. All the guy did was make a decision that was best for him
Sorry I didn't mean it I was just hate writing I don't hope for injury ... Best decision for Durant = worst decision for the rest of the nba... I hope he gets bood like crazy in every away arena, they're burning jerseys in okc !!
no problem dude. I understand you were just frustrated. But you cant force players to go somewhere they dont wanna go for. For example if you were a lawyer and you got offered a top position at a top law firm but that meant leaving a place all your close associates worked at, it would be tough to leave but best for your future
More like a lawyer who made good money and fame helping poor folks fight the big corporations suddenly going to work for those corporations because the legal system was favoring big business and he was losing too much.
Can't beat them, join them.

True I mean if healthy you can put that championship in the shopping cart I don't think anyone has a chance not even Lebron
Is Tommy D still reporting that the Knicks will get an official meeting with Durant?

yeah i dont necessarily agree with it. I think he should have stayed in OKC for 1 more try and if he failed again then he could leave. But i dont have an issue with his decision

I'm honestly not sure I see that... they will have to let all of their big men go - Festus Ezeli, Bogut, Speights - no bigs left. A team with legit size could give them fits. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Spurs retool to beat them - they need to minimize Parker, Manu, Duncan and get more speed around Kawhi, Green, and LMA now.
There's a reason they play the games. But, yeah, some games GSW is just gonna run over the opposition.
I do think Lebron will have Love traded for someone to help that team more.
Well at least we can get their bench players to be our bench players I'm hoping. They're coming from a winning program so I'm hoping they know what they're doing if any of them join the Knicks.

I agree I don't like it ether, he should have stayed in okc on a one&one .
when gsw signed curry + klay to those deals, they weren't aware the cap was going to explode like this. so they got a bit lucky since this new cap is the only reason they can entertain durant...but all teams need luck.

Seriously grow up. People can disagree with you. Why don't you actually respond to my points instead of whining?

That's if they have any pride. I saw a tweet stating a lot of free agents were looking at taking minimum deals to join the Warriors now.

You seem to be the one doing the whining and trolling here. All he said is he didn't blame Durant for wanting to win. Your response- he is relentlessly attacking people who don't like the move?!?!...seriously dude, WTF????
Barnes has apparently been offered a max by Dallas. (Maybe that's why no sign-n-trade with OKC? I'm surprised OKC isn't getting _something_ back.)
Bogut has to be traded (and, ahem, he's dropped GS icons from his twitter feed) but presumably he's worth something so I'd guess he'll be traded for a cheap promising rookie and a large contract that someone wants to dump.
Ezeli . . . hmmmm, it's too bad GS can't keep Ezeli but I'd guess he's gone.
Shaun Livingston? Gone? He's a solid player, somewhat underpaid . . . not sure what's going to happen with Livingston.
Iggy? Maybe they trade Iggy to keep Livingston?
Whew, phone in GS gotta be ringing.
