We can only offer him the room exemption... why do teams hate him so much? If we get him we will find out pretty fast

He played really well for Hornacek. I think it'd be a decent move. Though honestly, I'd rather give him a minimum "make good" deal.

That's all he seems to get in his career. It's weird

Dude has looked pretty bad two years straight and that includes two years ago under Hornacek. He has really only had one good year as an above average player plus he is 30 yrs old. There has to be some young guys that can do what he does.

FYI, this "rumor" is someone retweeting a link to a story from a content farm citing a tweet from someone speculating Green is one of a few guys the Knicks could consider (Thorton and Martin were the others).

There is no "rumor" connecting him to the team. This is one of those cases where someone with no affiliation with the Knicks, Green or the NBA was thinking out loud and a content farm writes a story about that and puts "rumor" in the headline.

That this forum has taken it one step further is why content farms exist.

I also liked Green a lot when he first came out of college. I watched him a lot and one thing I noticed is that he is a little lazy and has really low BBall IQ. Seems like a good guy and his elite athletic ability is probably why he is still in the NBA. His brother is also a pretty good athlete but is infamous for dunking on the wrong basket. Maybe it runs in the family.

I met and played in the same gym with him......this was back in 2005 and i thought he had a bright future. Always a leaper and shooter.....but he also seems like the guy that cant let go of his past habits. .....not sure if he was taki g this game serious, and missed out on some opportunities in his prime......he would be a great addition at age 30.....im sure hes mature now and ready to make an impact while he still has his athleticism. ....open court player like d.will plays above the rim.....im 6 ft and my last dunk was at age 33....hes 6'6 with no major injuries....sign him up as a last resort.....need more athletes.

At the minimum he's worth a gamble
dk7th @ 7/5/2016 1:20 PM
he's the dude who got fined for the shooting gestures recently, right?
Caseloads @ 7/5/2016 6:08 PM
no to Gerald Green. He's not professional

Pass.

Without shooters, Jennings and rose will suffer
CrushAlot @ 7/5/2016 6:36 PM
I think he would be a good addition. At this point he would be signing for the vet minimum and he would have a role. He should have had a much better career up to this point with his talent.
