I continue to be amazed at the stupidity of millionaires who don't recognize the potential consequences of their actions...especially pro athletes- whose livelihood depends on physical prowess. He hasn't had a good year.

Unbelievable. SMDH! I've never understood this even back in the early 70's when I was a kid we knew you had to be careful with fireworks and there were guys that got seriously hurt by not being careful. Why an athlete with everything to lose would do this is beyond me.

Was at a 4th of July gathering the other day where some of the fireworks went the wrong way in the air and might have hurt people or caused a fire.

Years ago as a teenager I had a firecracker go off in my hand...hurt like hell, but no physical damage. Had it been a cherry bomb or another larger item, I might have lost a finger. Told this story to a young kid at the July 4th gathering the other day...warning him about fireworks (which I used to love using as a kid, by the way)...and then two of the adults in the group who were doing the fireworks set them off on an unstable platform which was what led to the near disaster we almost had.

I was sure foolish in doing what I did with fireworks as a kid...but by Nick Young's age I knew better.
