Everyone spent the whole season pining for an upgraded backcourt, now we have two of them (and still relatively young), and the beeyatching continues...

Don't all teams have 3 top PGs on their roster?

I am waiting to see if Boston waives Demetrius Jackson or if Cleveland passes on Felder. I think its plausible that a PG better than the existing crop will become available. I assume Lawson will not take a Vet minimum deal.

Felder or Jackson would be awesome.

The report this thread is based on, says the Cavs really liked Felder, and they had to pay $2.4M to get him, I think...doubt they give him up, and at less than 5'10" he's not exactly a Phil guy.

Remember, Boston does not have to sign Jackson...and they still retain his rights- or am I wrong about this.

I just don't think Phil will add a project PG to this roster, especially players who can only play PG.

As I've said before, if he doesn't keep Baker in favor of a traditional PG, that PG will be an established NBA player.

Of course. And all their #1 draft picks for the next decade. And 4 quality back up centers. And at least 3 elite wing defenders on the bench.

and enough cap space to sign two elite FA's!!!!
when do we start Chris Paul loving?

RonRon @ 7/20/2016 10:02 AM
pretty sure

Westbrook will be the #1 target for us and the other 29 teams

maybe then Chris Paul

maybe after that trades for Bledsoe/Brandon Knight, possibly Jrue Holiday

getting 2 players for 15m might be better than a 4year max for some others or 4-5years for Rose

Brooklyn

1. Chris McCullough is coming along from the torn ACL he suffered. They think he has a chance to be a part of the rotation this year.

2. Isaiah Whitehead should be the backup SG at least and they think he has Jamal Crawford-lite potential as a bench scorer.

3. They are really happy to have Caris LeVert and will let him take his time to get ready to play.

4. After missing out on the RFAs, they pivoted to Phase 2, which was vets on short term deals. They think they'll be competitive and might surprise a lot of people. I won't name the name, but I was told "We'll be better than the Knicks. You can put that in pen."

LOL. So there are fans more delusional than Knicks fans. And they work for the Nets.
