Plumlee signed a guaranteed 1-yr deal. our depth chart is looking like this:
PG: Rose, Jennings, [Randle]
SG: Lee, Holliday, [Baker]
SF: Melo, Lance T., Lithuanian Dude
PF: KP, Hernangomez
C: Noah, O’Quinn, [Plumlee]
that is 14 players, so we have room for a 15th (likely a player on the vet minimum).
Berman's article on Plumlee signing says “even if the Knicks use his spot on the 15-man roster to have him play in Westchester.”
what are the rules regarding the D-League again? we can dress 12 and then send 3 guys to the D League who can't be poached? and other players signed down there can be poached by other teams?
also, any rumors on who the remaining roster spot will go to?
I wonder if Early is still in the running. Also, I suspect there's a chance Randle, Baker, and Plumlee could all be cut in camp if they don't look like the real deal.

That could happen but I doubt it. From what i've seen they all look capable enough to be at the end of the bench and possibly get spot minutes or garbage time minutes.
he'll probably leave that one roster spot open for a possible call up during the season If someone goes down..phil hasn't had a full 15 man roster since he took over

They can have two guys under contract with the Knicks playing on Westchester.
Could Phil give us another Euro-surprise? I expect that he'll find a decent player cut by another team because of the numbers game.

We need a decent 4. Hernangomez isnt one , Oquin should be but plays better at 5 and the Mindy kid off the bat looks to be a 3. Think Knicks need to add a contributor there beyond letting Melo slide ovr on occasion. Mixed bag of talents and questionable depth beyond 8. Horny has his work cut out creating an identity , mixing and grouping and making sure the walking stay off dl
I say a Jordan Hill-David Lee steel cage match.
Winner gets a minimum deal.

Could be worse I guess - like Anthony Randolph

He needs to get a legit center which we don't have behind J.Noah right now.

I saw that we were looking at D.Gooden today but i'd rather have D.Lee or J.Hill.

If willy pans out we'll be good, but i do like Gooden, although he does pretty much what KOQ does
