But seriously - both these guys are odd ducks. A few of us were saying even during the season that we could see them clicking and maybe Phil would chase Noah in FA well before we knew Rose was coming.

This is the funniest thing I've read in days. Why did Noah decide to go to Phils house? Wtf!?!

One article mentioned that Yannick Noah gave Joakim Phil's books to read and that Noah read them and I suppose he was impressed so much that he felt compelled to seek him out when he could. Noah is obviously someone that I could see jiving with Phil. I love the move for the Knicks. Noah is a Phil type of player. He's all in for the team and no nonsense. The kind of leader this team needs.

He said it was 4 or 5 years ago. Phil wasn't even working for the Knicks back then. Or the Lakers at the time, I don't think.

I already love Noah as much as some of my all-time favorite Knicks like Starks, Oakley, Sprewell, Camby. I know he has to earn it on the floor, but I just see him as the guy who brings Phil's philosophy straight to the Garden floor. I think as long as Noah can play this team is going to be a wild ride.

This like the weirdest story ever but it makes me feel that we made the right choice....Noah bled Red and Black....now he is going to be orange and blue....like Oak, Mase, Starks, Ewing, LG....they would run thru a brick wall for the team

Timeline... 4 or 5 years ago. That would be just before dpoy candidate time?
