I get what you're saying but he's not a loser, he just can't play a lick of defense, his offense and rebounding is good.

He'snot welcome here after what he said during free agency before he signed with the Bucks. He will get zero love from me
Another write up on a potential trade. I liked this part,
With legitimate interest from Knicks’ brass, Jackson will likely sit in his office working the phones in an attempt to bring another asset to the bench.

More or less impossible, unless Thomas, Jennings or Lee are involved.
Cap math is pretty simple and finite.
Knicks would need about $11.4m to legally take Monroe's salary.

Good luck to anyone who wants to try...
ignore rumors that are not from Woj or Marc Spears.
thank god it is pretty much impossible for us to trade for him.
this is new york. you can't have defensive softies littering the roster. stop the madness!

Agreed...Since Pjax has been here, we haven't leaked much if anything to the press....Not buying this rumor.

yup ... if anything they are kgb feeding these leaks to throw off the scent.
been pretty tight lipped and that is nice to see since we remember the days of the press printing how badly the knicks wanted to draft Steph Curry every 2 mins.

Teams were able to set up their draft boards when the Knicks drafted Gallinari.
This is a giant heaping pile of baloney.
Putting aside whether the numbers work, i would be interested with Monroe off the bench. There is no room in the starting lineup, but the guy is a talent.

I'd rather have David Lee for the minimum if we should be so lucky
Maybe Phil's going to pull a sign and trade for KDurant. That would prove Monroe's still better than Rolo.
I just had to read the first paragraph of the article to know this was complete and utter horseshyt.
After reporting earlier this week that the San Antonio Spurs were interested in trading for Milwaukee Bucks center Greg Monroe, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio now says that a new team has entered the mix for Monroe’s services — the New York Knicks.
I don't see how it's possible now and in December when all players become eligible for trade, i don't see how it makes sense. Any deal for Monroe would involve some combination of newly signed players like Lee, Thomas, Jennings etc, and would deplete our already shallow bench and throw off the balance of the roster that we were able to put together. He would be a nice player to have off the bench, but makes no sense from a trade perspective at any point.
Yeah i'm sure this is just a BS article to get clicks. I'm not a big Monroe fan but to have him subbing in for J.Noah to give Noah the rest he'll need wouldn't be a bad idea at all. As of now we don't have a center that has much offense at all and although most of us don't like Monroe for his comments against us when he signed with Milwaukee he's still a beat on offense and with rebounds and could be a huge help for us.

LOL. It would prove he was 100x better than Lopez.
