Knicks · Veteran 3rd-string PG option... Derek Fisher?? (page 1)

crzymdups @ 8/3/2016 12:44 PM

Looks like he might be trying to make a come back though.

blkexec @ 8/3/2016 1:06 PM
I'm 43....6'0....at my playing weight for the first time in years.....I'm back to doing whatever I want to on the court. If I can do it, I'm sure Fisher can....These new NBA drugs and NBA training programs will turn you into superman......I had two major surgeries and Fisher had none. He looks fit and I'm sure he still has the heart of a champion. The question is who wants or needs a 3rd string PG. I think he would be a perfect option for NY, if he didn't have prior history with this franchise. He's a locker room coach and a floor general. Similar to what Jason Kidd did in his last NBA year, Fisher can provide the same things.....But with a better outside jump shot.

I believe both him and Isiah Thomas are still under contract.
Nalod @ 8/3/2016 2:34 PM
Fired coach returning as a player? Why do I think that is not a good idea. Granted, most of the team is changed but "Really"?
Berman suggests if any team, the Lakers as he can mentor the young ones.
EnySpree @ 8/3/2016 2:36 PM
Yo fuck Derek Fisher B...
mreinman @ 8/3/2016 2:53 PM
looks like he is trying to show off the phil with all those mid range shots.
CrushAlot @ 8/3/2016 2:59 PM
Knicks signed randle.
fitzfarm @ 8/3/2016 3:20 PM
Could you imagine if fish played for us lol after being the most clueless/hated coach ... That's a New York tabloid dream !
Cartman718 @ 8/3/2016 3:30 PM
If he believes that anyone in the NBA is going to leave him that open on those slow azs moves at 42...He's even more delusional than I thought.
RonRon @ 8/3/2016 4:52 PM
so doing a Steph Curry double dribble with a free throw shot is suppose to make GM's want him?
I can surely hit the FT distance shot and 3pt high school shot
Can GM's hit me up too? I do not have the 5 rings though or Triangle Experience...

Imagine him matching up with Barnes in a game. Guaranteed brawl.
Paris907 @ 8/4/2016 8:37 PM
Pass on fisher. We don't need him.

Care to elaborate?

He could easily play a 3rd back up point guard. Not for the Knicks but I'm sure one of the teams would make a spot for him
