you can have 20 for training camp

So its Tokoto, Baker and Randle for the last spot?
What about Cleanthony?

What about Cleanthony?

I have been disappointed with Cleanthony. He hasn't shown enough to be an NBA player considering he was a 4-year college player (if i'm not mistaken.) Same with Thanasis, who gets a fair amount of hype around here, but doesn't seem to be an NBA player. Both have NBA bodies and athleticism, but haven't improved enough at any NBA skill.

As per the Knicks roster page Cleanthony Early, Admundson and Seraphin are all FAs even though they are still on the page. They are basically FAs that have not signed with another team yet.

No doubt, but getting shot in the leg kind of put things on hold. Amazing he came back as he did and played decently. At 25, he is losing time to make it.
Always root for our picks to make it, if not here, then on another team.

Yeah it was just really bad luck and an unfortunately circumstance. If he was 22 or 23 then i think its a different story. At age 25, and still unproven at the NBA level, not sure if there is any time left. It's a shame because most of us and media thought he was a steal as a 2nd round pick and could be a rotation player right away. He seemed to have all the tools to be a solid role player for a long time, and just hasn't put it together for many reasons.

Wow! Never knew that.

Markji @ 8/3/2016 5:27 PM
Excellent signing for our 3rd string PG. We now are well stocked at PG. So much better than last year. And we have PG's and players who can push the ball and play to Hornacek's preferred offense.

This is the kind of thing that makes me say the predictions are wrong. This team has so much more fit for the style of play with the right kind of guards and bigs to execute Hornacek's style of ball. Noah, KP, Melo, KOQ and Willy can all pass the ball effectively.

Amazing how pretty much all the things some have bashed Phil over he's ended up getting done this summer. Unless your SAS who would only accept signing Durant as an acceptable summer from Phil.

I was camping with my family for all but the first 2 summer league games so I hadn't seen much of Randle. Watching him now on youtube and he seems like a great signing.

He's pretty much just what the doctor ordered. We need a scoring PG that can fill in and he might be just the guy. We'll see.

WaltLongmire @ 8/4/2016 1:20 AM
Thought he'd get an offer from another team (Wonder if that 3 team rumor was legit)...glad to hear he signed with the Knicks. Confident player in SL, will be interesting to hear and see how he does in training camp.
Paris907 @ 8/4/2016 5:14 AM
Given that Knicks need a playmaker after Jennings, Randle has a chance to stick. Am I wrong but it now appears that we've 7 guys at camp for 3 spots
NDour
Randle
Seraphin
Admundson
Plumlee
Baker
Tokoto

3 Brings us to 15. Should be competitive.

Seraphin and Louie are probably done with the Knicks. Seraphin could end up overseas. Lou might just retire.

I would have to think that Randle was told he'd have a spot after him talking with so many other teams and choosing us.

We needed 3 point shooting since all we have is C.Lee so he was really needed. A big reason that i've been on here hoping we'd sign Kevin Martin was for his 3 point shooting.
