Ray Allen wants to return to the NBA and he told the Hartford Courant that Knicks fan Spike Lee has been texting him about signing in New York. "Spike Lee has been trying to recruit me," Allen told the newspaper. The Knicks have 14 players under guaranteed contract and would have room to add Allen to a guaranteed contract for the veteran's minimum.
If he comes back, he is only coming back for the Warriors or the Cavs or any title contenders.
Jason Terry expressed an interest in an interview yesterday to sign with the Knicks. Apparently Caron Butler would be interested in playing for the Knicks. I am huge fan of Butler but I don't know how much he has left. It's nice to hear that quality vets would like to play for the Knicks.

I would welcome Jason Terry. We need the extra voices and instigators... we're going to need guys to keep exerting focused. It's a long season. We had that leadership during that 54 win year.

Terry was fired up. He sounded ready to play right now. He said the only player he ever feared was Iverson because he could make you look bad.

I think a guy like Terry is a perfect fit. I imagine that with Rose's and Jenning's injury histories he might be called on for heavy minutes for 10 to 15 games. He seems like a prime candidate for that Kurt Thomas / Rasheed Wallace role

Yes....but Terry likes the sun. NY would be a last resort.

You know if veteran players are interested, then we are considered contenders. Its also the first time I heard phil confidently say that he thinks we could contend for a championship.
