It was 4 or five steps with no dribble ? :D
NYKBocker @ 10/7/2016 1:38 PM
He was actually blocked by the rim.
Dagger @ 10/7/2016 1:40 PM
He looks like a clown with all these different hairdos, will enjoy watching him stink it up for the Nets.
fishmike @ 10/7/2016 1:42 PM
he would have made the shot but his man-bun was too tight

it was two steps and legal, unlike so many of the nba's superstars.

You know what, I was just wondering today how I could further embarrass myself on a basketball court. Thanks OP. And a special thanks to Jeremy Lin!

Nah he just hooked it. That's happened to me so many times when I used to be able to jump that high.... it's because I suck

Do you really only see 2 steps in that video?

Replay has 2 steps... but original video has 4.
I think almost every player has one or more moments like this.
No one can control his own mind... and it plays tricks.

Saving his layups for the Knicks I guess.
jrodmc @ 10/13/2016 11:24 AM
Saw this for the first time yesterday. Ranks up there with the Bargs dunk attempt.

Too much stickem on the man bun 'do, apparently. You can see him wiping his hand on his shorts after the highlight.

Seems like he just considered it so routine that he didn't pay ANY attention to his form, resulting in english that hooked it in the air. Leaving the Knicks really took a spark out of Lin (i.e., the Sanity spark). But those Linsanity days were something to behold. Nobody can ever take that away from him, no matter how many 4-step air-ball layups he does.
