Tonight, his first, second, and third instinct was to try to win the game by himself. When that didn't happen, he finally remembered his teammates. Roberson's defense down the stretch coupled with Adams effort was probably why they pulled the game out. Westbrook played much, much better against Philly. He was poised, efficient, and smart in that game. This triple double vs the Suns was a wash.

Looks like Westbrook had the same view of his performance, from ESPN

"Tonight, I think I should've [trusted teammates] a lot more, honestly," Westbrook said. "Throughout the game, I've got to find ways to not just trust them but get them the ball where they can score the basketball. We missed some easy shots as well, but at the same time, I've got to do a better job of finding open guys, getting them more shots, but we came out with the win tonight and we can figure that out for the next game."

Tim Frazier has been putting up great numbers for the Pelicans while Holiday is out.

I think this guy was mentioned on hear already, if so his story is worth repeating. You gotta root for guy who came up this way. Jonathon Simmons my new favorite non NYK
http://www.businessinsider.com/jonathon-...

While players go back and forth between the NBA and D-League frequently these days, Simmons' story is exceptional. He had to pay a $150 registration fee just to try out. Many other players enter the D-League draft after going undrafted in the NBA or simply get assigned to the D-League from an NBA team. Simmons had to prove himself among 60 other hopefuls.

He did an excellent job of trusting his teammates tonight. Another TD, this time with 16 assists. He involved his teammates so much that they were all in on the passing vs the Lakers, 29 assists as a team. Now he's just got to harness it, cut down on the turnovers. But, overall, he played very well tonight. This was a much better played game than the 51 pt one.

I haven't watched any of their games so can someone explain how the bulls are winning - doesn't their lack of 3pt shooting run contrary to the modern nba? (genuine question)

Great ball movement, Butler and Wade shooting over 50% from 3 right now (have to assume that won't last), they are super deep, RoLo and Taj Gibson are active big men playing great right now, Mirotic and McDermott are stretch 3/4s for them and create space inside for Butler/Wade/Rondo to operate, again really great ball movement, they're a fun team to watch, Wade seems highly motivated to prove Riley wrong. They look good. They're so deep that they have Bobby Portis and Denzel Valentine (aka the all-Briggs team) on the bench getting like 3min a game.

I think Friday's Knicks/Bulls game is going to be EPIC.

Also, the Thunder just traded Ilyasova to the Sixers for Jerami Grant

Ilyasova has been traded three times since February. Detroit to Orlando to OKC to Philly.

CrushAlot @ 11/1/2016 4:15 PM
I think OKC did well with that deal. I really like Grant. They are trying to lock up their guys and build something there.

What do you like about Grant? Will Philly cut Ily or keep him and see if he can create some trade value before the deadline?

Wow now that was a sick display by GS.

The scary thing is that they're not remotely firing on all cylinders yet. Klay is 3-28 from 3pt this season... at some point that's gonna change.

Nets have 2 wins. I didn't think i'd say that till christmas. Atkinson has them playing hard.

Yeah. They are spent after last night. Not the same team that they were a year ago.
