Look . . . this is not about the first game of the season -- anyone knows that.

And it's not even about Hornacek running a "hybrid" Triangle offense -- that
can conceivably work.

The issue is this: to run ANY hybrid offense during ANY game of the season,
you need to know ALL aspects of that hybrid.

And what I'm saying (I'll let dk7th speak for himself) . . . is that the Knicks:

(1) don't know the Triangle part of the "hybrid" Triangle
(2) are not learning it properly
(3) might NEVER learn it properly.

Rose and Jennings have NEVER shown any skills that would make you think they'd
be good Triangle point guards.

Moreover, Rose and Jennings have NEVER shown that they have any serious INTEREST
in being good Triangle point guards.

How can you ever expect to run a "hybrid" Triangle offense with 2 point guards
that can't and won't run the Triangle (?)

Right now, Rose and Jennings are just running amok in the NON-TRIANGLE part of
the "hybrid" Triangle.

That's not good enough and never will be . . .
