Knicks · If we win a chip while Melo is here, will you leave the board and become a full time Pacers fan? (page 1)

Just asking. Maybe it's the lingering reason behind some people's "primary motives for negativity" AFTER ONE REGULAR SEASON GAME

Enough of these threads...they are silly.

Not as sly as the major overreactions after the first game. I guess it's cool to be overly negative because you areally "telling it like it is".

Dude we are both die hard knick fans, we both want them to win every game. Can we bury this already?

If it's convenient for you sure why not

I just wish you would realize I'm actually a very positive fan. However I do point out things because I ultimately want this team to win so bad. When I'm critical about something its not negativity its just trying to be honest and hoping the team/player will learn from it and become better.

Good, show us some positivity. As a fan, you can learn and become better as well.

I been a Knicks fan since both Knicks championship trophies .. I'm positive head coach Red Holzman would have pulled Melo's card after one season to demand for Melo to be traded to the next team asap. Melo has to many FLAWS in his performance, especially the ISO-Melo performance of holding the ball to shoot on 3 to 4 consecutive offense possession.

Yeah...Red would have traded him. What use could he of had with one of the best offensive players of all time. Just dont think so. We should just enjoy the show this year. And yes, that means some modern basketball. 7'3 guys taking 3's. Melo pounding it down low and taking advantage of mis matches. Btw, Melo led team in dimes last year. I like the fact he is going strong to basket and not settling for 3's. He did need to pass out of double teams more in first 2 games. But had 5 assists last game. He is just fine. And as far as winning a chip. Unlike some that flock to the stacked teams, his love for NY has kept him here. Maybe you can respect that if not his game.

Nalod @ 10/31/2016 5:08 PM
What would Red Do???

OMG, Red would have had a stroke by now dealing with the modern diva player.
Can't jump back into the "Hot Tub Time Machine" and root for the Pacers.
BTW, they were the class of the ABA!

3 chips in 5 finals appearances!!!

Thats sports JR. Remember this isnt the New England Patriots we have here. There is built in skepticism and negativity after 15 years--be a big boy and deal with it. Nobody who posts here wants the Knicks to lose.

Everything in the world ends and Melo will retire one day.
But Knicks will move on.
Why be so worked out about one player who has 2-3 years left.
He is not an issue any more.
Just a temporary nuisance for some shooda-wooda-cooda fans...

These guys can't even acknowledge how much Melo has evolved since he's been here. They won't acknowledge the talent level of the teams that's been around him either. Melo had to hold the ball. Under Woodson in the 50 game season that was the game plan.... that's not the game plan now and the Knicks look damn good. Guys are so caught up in the past that they can't see what's going on. Knicks are playing a nice team game.

Well its only game 3 but Melo looks like game 70 with the way he was getting smoked on the D. # Cant move feet anymore. This team is far away from the necessary components to win big. We can look good win games but this is not a hardcore team. A few flicks by Memphis and this team is 0-3
