Plus Max Hooper, I believe.

I think you are right. He was their first round pick and the Posting and Toasting article has a tweet from him saying he is excited to play for Westchester.
Good for him. The kid needs a break. Hope he gets his chance with the Knicks later this year.
Great news! I was worried he might not accept. He should be up with the big club in no time.

Surprised OKC didn't make another run at him since Payne broke his foot
Good news! Though he can jump ship at anytime if he gets an NBA offer, right?
now heres my question...
seems like the new CBA is close to a done deal by dec 15th. so will the new CBA actually be a NEW one (rip up the old and start the new rules at the start of july 2017). or will it be AMENDED which implies it can start immediately
the reason why i ask is because in the new CBA, the rumor is they will allow "two-way" contracts and extra roster spots for call ups. it basically means a minor league system in which D-league players now BELONG to their team and CANT be acquired by other teams. if we like randle and want to keep him, i hope this CBA is amended so that the new rules start this dec 15th (other wise the knicks can lose him)
I think we will see Chasson Randle in a New York Knicks uniform before the season is over - I'm gonna predict late January.

I don't think that's fair financially for the player who's blocked from signing with another team on an nba minimum contract, but stuck on a D league wage. Unless those players are paid the same as nba minimum players.

Randle has a broken face (eye orbital?) though, so what is the sense?
WKnicks to travel to Greensboro, NC where the new Hornets team "The Swarm" play. It will be second game of the season.
Greensboro has an arena thats been expanded twice seating 21,000 for basketball. Great basketball tradition with the ACC tournament.
What Greensboro did was build a 2500 seat building just for the Swarm. Should be near sell outs every game and no bad seats in the house. Season tickets went fast there.
I'll get up there to check them out and got my tickets for the Knicks Nov. 16th.
Randle is a nice prospect. Could be a good bench player for us in upcoming years. I am glad he's in the fold
Randle will be called up as soon as KOQ is traded.

KOQ isnt getting traded any time soon

Player starts slow. We want him out. Player imporoves and contributes, "His trade value is higher!!"
Reality is KOQ is a good value contract and decent player. Sort of a "Rony Turiaf" lite. You need depth and he is that.
We basically replaced Seraphin with Villy, so we got younger. If Villy can replace KOQ, then you make considerations for trade.
If we are not in playoff contention and a team wants his experience and makes us an offer we can't refuse, then perhaps.
But why trade a player who contributes and is improving? We need him. Noah will miss games, we will need him.

I actually think that Willy can give what KOQ is giving you right now and Willy will get better. I just don't like KOQs play. Willy, NDour and Plumlee can more than handle or give what KOQ gives you. Gotta sell high and I think in a couple of months KOQs value will be an all time high. Hoping we can get a mid to late 1st rounder for KOQ.

You think that. I also think Willy is the better prospect for sure and I want to see him developed but the bottom line is KOQ outplayed his competition and he's continued to play well in the first two games. At what point do you acknowledge that at 26 this guy worked on his game an beat out the competition on the roster? Coaching staff has it right... KOQ won the spot and has played great. When Willy starts to beast off the bench talk to me then. KOQ's spot in the rotation is 100% the best thing for this team.

Agree with your points above, but remember that O'Quinn was in the same position last year. Looked good coming out of preseason but then fell off dramatically as the season wore on. Yes, he has earned it to this point, but I'll be convinced when he sustains it weeks into the season. No doubt thought that up to now, his play has earned him his rotation spot. I like Willy, but he isn't ready just yet to step in to that role.

thats all going to change. once they are called up to the big leagues then they get paid NBA money
