Vujacic brings nothing to the table, lance is being waived by the pelicans
He's a big body guard, I would like him for our 2nd unit
Might be out 8-10 weeks with a groin injury. Real question is do we grab him hurt and rehab him? We had a chance to get a healthy Stephenson cheap before the season and passed. Didn't want him then, I doubt we want him now. Agree, though btw--he'd be an upgrade over Vujacic. No question there. Would he be an upgrade over Jennings and/or Holiday?
He's polished on offense than holiday. Jennings shot selection has been awful...but it's still early...

I agree with this.
I think I'd sign him to play the 3 off the bench.
Lance Thomas is not giving us much right now, but he's also playing more the 3.
We need someone who can rebound, defend, pass, and SCORE. Lance can do all those at a high level.
I would honestly sign him now and cut NDour or Plumlee.

what about the whole triangle learning curb, which our current players still haven't even figured out yet.

Well, a) we are barely running the Triangle at all this year. Which is why Phil is mad.
I think the starters will improve. But the bench needs some experience and scoring punch. They have none. How many games has it been where all the bench guys go scoreless or chip in 5 or 6 pts? We can't win like that. We need a good 25-30pts consistently from the bench, if not more. We need better D, too, which comes from experienced Vets. Kuz and Willy may eventually be players, but they don't look ready to me yet
Has anyone noticed Phil only brings in his own head cases, not other peoples?
No chance Phil signs him. Sasha is the Triangle guru, Holiday is a cheap and low maintenance player, and I figure that Baker wll eventually emerge as the SG backup.
