Knicks · yessss finally kuz and willy steal the show (page 1)

fitzfarm @ 11/9/2016 9:38 PM
keep them on the floor they are vets in there rookie year and it shows.... that step back 3 is something lance could never do kuz is a superior offensive talent and should be the first forward off the bench. willy is a superior player to oquinn he like kuz is a rookie vet.... also jennings was a magician tonight he is the key to the second unit success of kuz and will with sasha or holiday.... lance and o'quinn take a seat good sir's, kuz and willy are going to take your roles by the balls
fitzfarm @ 11/9/2016 9:45 PM
I would imagine that kuz and willy will be the first forwards off the bench until proven otherwise
nixluva @ 11/9/2016 9:56 PM
These guys have good ability and feel for the game. They're gonna only get better as the season moves along. This was a great confidence builder for them.

They're gonna leave Lance as the 1st forward in, due to his "defensive presence". He also hit a few shots today as opposed to his usual futility. But Kuz is definitely earning more minutes.

KOQ and and Ndour ain't ready.....Couldn't understand what JH was waiting for

yes its what they needed my favorite was seeing willy and kp with kuz, sasha, and jennings that team played the best two way ball of the season. hopefully kuz and willy get rewarded for their efforts

EnySpree @ 11/9/2016 10:06 PM
Kuz is a bad dude. He really knows how to play. Same with Willy...

I'm ready to trade KOQ and Thomas to try and upgrade the shooting guard spot

I like that idea honestly, Thomas should have good value as well. What if we could get like a Justice Winslow? splash a little and get a good piece for the future

I still like Kyle but upgrading the 2 is still necessary, especially on the bench.

Agreed. Where the hell did lances offense go? It was small to begin with. How did he lose it?

Both kuz and willy seem to be a step ahead of many of the vets in terms of knowing where to be, what to do.

They've earned their minutes

It was just one game. Willy and Kuz have a long way to go before we can start trading players to give them more minutes. The Knicks have a lot invested in Thomas, so they are going to give him a chance to pull himself out of his funk. He did look a little better last night, but he still has not reached the level he was playing at last year.

yea... KOQ has played well. He and Holiday have been the only consistent bench guys. It was great to see Willy and Kuz have a nice impact. Cool to see coach stick with the hot hand as well. There will be games when we need a lot of minutes from Noah. Keeping him to 20 on nights like this when Willy is killing is a great formula as the season goes on.

People just need to understand this is a work in progress and some nights guys will look great, other nights they will struggle. I am still a believer in Willy. I view him as a huge building block in the future, but no need to rush. This was a nice confidence builder for him. Great to see.

Lance looked not terrible for the first time. We need Dad-Melo... he's been a no show. Maybe he said hello for a qtr or two. Not enough.

fitzfarm @ 11/10/2016 9:28 AM
Lance can't be traded till December right? Oquinn can be traded any time...still watching kuz over Thomas, kuz is supior. Kuz is longer, more athletic, a better scorer, a better shooter, that step back 3 from kuz last night is something Thomas could only dream about.

Willy is supior to oquinn in a lot of ways too, even passing which is a strength for oquinn.

Thomas and oquinn might land us a great back up 2 although I love holiday we could upgrade.

GoNyGoNyGo @ 11/10/2016 9:28 AM
Yes, I agree! Willy and Kuz from now on.

I was impress with what I saw in the Olympics, I knew he was a better option than DWIlL, his touch seems much more consistent and His IQ is well ahead of DWILLs

Don't be so fast. The Nets were without some key players. Lets see what they do against a team with a strong winning record then this post can be relevant. Otherwise it's not.

I hear ya and yes the nets are not a good team. but at the same time lance and oquinn were in the same game and looked way worse then kuz and willy vs the same talent. I'm excited for the next game vs the Celtics it'll be a nice test for willy and kuz. I think they deserve lance and oquinn's minutes . I've been saying that since the preseason. hopefully horney gives them more burn
