James Harden is the offensive player making contact on the defender. isnt that a offensive foul or a no call... harden is a great talent there is no denying that maybe the number one talent in the nba on offense.... but the whistle needs to stop blowing when he is the one contacting the defender.... its like the Durant arm swing to make contact still a foul but a non shooting.... harden is a referee all star and it needs to stop and start giving him the melo treatment no harm no foul.

That's the rules of the game other players can do it too. He has mastered the art of drawing fouls and you just give the guy props for it. Smart players take the rules of the game and make it an advantage for them.
I agree & hate when refs bail out offensive players that aren't even in a position to shoot, but feel contact and throw themselves into and against the defender.
Melo gets no love from the refs no matter what he does. They do not like or respect him apparently.
Melo gets the Shaq treatment. They think he is stronger than everybody else so no foul.

no one deserves better treatment from the refs that's why the refs need to balance there calls. if they blow the whistle for harden drawing contact more then others that draw contact then it is seemingly a unfair advantage to all opponents of the Houston rockets.
the refs need to balance there calls and if we can see the bail outs they give harden the rest of the fans and the nba can see it to.
say its Knicks vs rockets and harden goes to the hoop and draws contact and throws the ball up to the hoop, refs blow the whistle.
melo goes to the hoop draws contact and throws the ball up to the hoop no whistle
now each is blatant contact why is one getting the call and the other is not.
now this happens to each player 14 times in a game harden goes to the line all 14 times
in melo's 14 times of drawing contact he goes to the line 6 times
isn't that a unfair advantage that the refs are giving to Houston
He's got to stop traveling too. They let her get away with that illegal Euro step, but he does every thing under the book to get an extra step. The refs always let him go.... add that to the fouls and the no hand checking rules... it's impossible to stop him

Agree - and its not just Harden that travels. It's gotten far worse over the years.
It used to be only MJ that got away with it. Now its a lot of elite offensive players. Must have been the memo from Stern - need more offense, more excitement.
What really gets to me is how this prick gets annoyed to all hell when the calls don't all go his way. Imagine if it was called fairly, he would be in tears. I hate watching Rocket games for this very reason.
