melo is what he is. He can be a dynamic scorer BUT like you pointed out has many flaws as well
We need to stop comparing Melo to Bron and start comparing him to guys like Dirk and Pierce and Bernard and 'Nique

Coach Horny has adjusted their rotations where Melo and KP are sharing less and less time on the court. Since Melo had a hot 1st half, not surprised to see KP limited to just 12 minutes.

Been saying this over and over this year. When Melo is out there, you have to ride him and exploit his matchup on offense. Powell cannot guard him. If his jumper is falling, he can still carry a team offensively for stretches. But if you don't exploit his matchup when he's out there, he's useless on the court (not a good defender or all around player). Melo is what he is at this point in his career.

I've noticed the last few games since Chicago we've been out rebounding the opponent, after getting killed on the boards early. The bench in particular is doing a good job on the offensive boards. That's a good sign.

And we have him on the books for 2 more seasons after this... sigh
Hornacek is gradually learning his roster and you can see him making adjustments to his lineups each game. This is definitely a process that takes time.

Powell is 6'4" and cannot guard him one on one. You have to exploit that matchup and the Knicks did. If Toronto doesn't double, which they haven't so far, he can get his shot off all game. I don't mind the ISO ball when Melo has an advantage and has it going, what I don't like is when he holds the ball too long before making his move. He needs to get into his move much sooner or pass.

I've noticed this too. It's starting to come together. Willy played well so he kept him in the rotation. Willy struggled early tonight, so he went to KOQ who gave the team a spark. Jennings playing well, he keeps Lee on the bench in the 2nd quarter. Toronto not hitting their outside shots, he goes to a zone. I like how he REACTS to the situation in the game. We haven't had this in 2 years with our coaches. He makes in game adjustments well--signs of a good coach.
I'm starting to think that Rambis's defensive philosophy is just to foul...
In the penalty since 7:31

It's not an if question it's a how question
Earlier in the game Lowry was on KP. Guess who didn't touch the ball
That's just dumb dumb dumb
Guy scores 20 points in the first half in a tight game and it's nothing but complaints. This shit is stupid.
