melo is what he is. He can be a dynamic scorer BUT like you pointed out has many flaws as well
Been saying this over and over this year. When Melo is out there, you have to ride him and exploit his matchup on offense. Powell cannot guard him. If his jumper is falling, he can still carry a team offensively for stretches. But if you don't exploit his matchup when he's out there, he's useless on the court (not a good defender or all around player). Melo is what he is at this point in his career.
And we have him on the books for 2 more seasons after this... sigh
