If we learned anything in that horrible defeat last night, it is how explosive the backcourt tandem of Rose and Jennings can be when paired together. Many have already said how Jennings is the better of the two at distributing the ball and being a natural point guard (case in point is how he always finds a way to keep KP involved when he's out there), and Rose has shown his former burst in penetrating and getting in the paint and to the rim (he is strong enough to play the 2 guard and is more of an offensive oriented player anyway), so the logical conclusion would be to play them more together and cut Lee's minutes. They single-handedly led the team last night to an impressive comeback in the 4th quarter with the team scoring 47 points and making the game interesting. Rose and Jennings looked like they finally found their jumpers in that 4th, and if they have, then watch out because it opens up their driving games.
If we were to do that; however, we would need a 3rd point guard on the roster who could play. I don't know who's been paying attention, but Randle has been dominant in the D league through his first 2 games and is showing he doesn't belong there. If not for his freak injury, he would have made the team outright. Call him up and either move Baker or Plumlee down permanently for more seasoning. He would be that perfect 3rd point guard coming off the bench, and he's ready to play now. This would instantly make our team a lot better and more dangerous.
Thoughts?!?
Chasson gave up 33 points to a guy named Munford so he's not ready for prime time.

He can't be worse than Vujacic.... so put him on the bench.Don't lose him for nothing.

Munford is another fringe 15th man in the nba. He had a call up with Memphis last year and played some minutes.
You can't just move someone down to the dleague. You potentially may lose them. I definately don't want to lose Plumlee. I think it comes down to Baker or Randle.

Also, I think Randle is a dleague player until ten day contracts.
I like Randle--I think you leave him down there for now and let him keep building up experience. With Jennings/Rose and Lee/Holiday already on the roster, I don't see the immediate fit. We don't need him up here just to sit--we already have Baker here sitting. Good to know, though, that should we ever have any injuries to any of our guards, Randle's a phone call away..
A lot's been said about having KP play the 5, with Melo/Holiday/Lee/Rose filling out the rest of the starting lineup. I wouldn't be opposed to trying that, at least against certain teams -- just wondering if we'd get enough rebounding. Then again, maybe KP's rebounding numbers would improve playing the 5.
