Billy is solid but he provides no rim protection. He would probably be a 16-30 type pick if he were coming out of college. Teams tend to got for shot blocks when looking at a center. Noah has played solid. He is not as good as he was,but it is not like he is playing terribly. We will need him come playoff time.
I think he's a top 10 pick. His post moves and passing are way beyond his years. He's active, he finishes and he's got great touch. If he was in college he'd be killing kids with his post game. His defense will come around but I love his instincts there as well. I'm convinced Willy will be an all-star some day and he and KP will lead us to our first championship since I was born, just a few years from now.

As Walt said, the lack of a buyout clause was troublesome, forgot about that but remember hearing it.
Your "top 10 pick statement" is believable..
I think we forget he is only 22 years old, with a lot of unrealized potential.
From NYKMentality85 on the other forum:
Hindsight is always 20/20 but if GM's could re-do the draft; Willy Hernangomez (at the age of only 22) would be a top 10 lottery pick and there's no chance he'd make it out of the 1st round. None whatsoever. Have you not followed this years rookie draft class? Both of Hernangomez and Kuzminskas are ranked within the top 10 amongst all NBA rookies in Value Added, Estimated Wins Added as well as overall Player Efficiency Rating. Hernangomez is also rated 2nd in Rebounding Rate (behind only Embiid), 6th in True Shooting Percentage (TS%) and 9th in Usage Rate etc.
Tip of my baseball cap goes to Phil Jackson. He came up big time with the drafting of these two Europeans.
Willy is definitely a late lottery pick if he's picked in this draft and didn't take a year to come over. Kuz is late 1st because his age. Someone like the Spurs probably grabs him since he helps right away and they have less depth than usual.
