Quick primer on tonite. Winslow is out and perhaps williams starts. James jones is hurt too.

After reading the article it very much sounds like it could have been written a year ago. Derrick looking for a home, blah blah.
My take is the dude didn't get a call cause knicks were not too impressed and wanted to give lance (deserved) a raise and had a line on Kuz.
Also, he opted out. He wanted a raise. He did not get one. GOt a one year deal for same money he had in NY, so if he wanted a home, he had one.
Also it seems like he was out of shape when he came to Heat.
Im not in "good riddence" mode but if his work habits were impressive and he made a big improvement over last season I think the knicks would be interested. Logical right?
We need this road win. We have Cav's coming in tomorrow night and after beating the Raptors they always up for game in MSG on national TV. With a 5 game west coast swing Nalod is hoping they are still at .500 after the trip.
One does not stop Lebron, you have to hope he is not hot from the outside and keep the game close while NOT double teaming him and wearing him down.
Nalod is looking past game tonite, but hope knicks are not.
Don't know if it was this above article or another but Williams had not played last couple of games even with Winslow still hurt. Not a good look; I guess McRoberts and James Johnson and small lineup getting the minutes.
Williams was somewhat of a pleasant surprise for me last year...had a number of flaws, but added good energy.
Wonder if he made a mistake leaving? This year's offensive might be more friendly to his game.
Phil would not have signed Kuz if Williams was still here, I assume.
D-Will had better not ascend from scrub status to 1-game god vs us tonight! Have to assume he and Tragic will be very motivated. It'll be a challenge for KP to go up against Whiteside. We need to win this one, as we have a toughie tomorrow.

Luckily Noah and KOQ will go up against Whiteside
Speaking of Derrick Williams, man, a lot of teams got that 2011 draft badly wrong- He was drafted number 2, ahead of Klay Thompson (who went at 11). Ahead of Klay, teams picked: Jan Vesely, Jimmer & Kanter. Kawhi Leonard wasn't picked until 15. Jimmy Butler was 30! Why oh why did we take Shumpert ahead of him?!?!
This is business... Wade isn't there, Zo isn't there.... we need to bust their ass. We are better than them. Get the job done. Zero loses in Miami or msg!
Remember when Pat Reilly was a genius and he was going to drop Bosh and add Melo, and/or somehow figure out some Pat Reilly-slick way to get every next big free agent?
That was awesome.
Instead he gave Bosh the max, gave Tyler Johnson $50m and owes two first rounders to Phoenix.

Should have given Wade a 3 year deal and traded him at this deadline (if he and Whiteside could have come on board together)
Was hoping DWill would stay, would have been nice with Jennings and the new and improved second unit.
Im guessing that playing at MSG, having the crowd behind him, helped elevate his game, as well as Phil believing in him.
Williams seems to be in a good situation there, but the Miami fans cant touch the Garden crowd. If he's available, Im also guessing that he would rather go back to a good situation, if this is the best it gets.
Every team's fans thinks it happens to them.
I liked D-Will's energy and i think he could have contributed with our current pgs throwing lobs of all sorts.
hopefully with most of their players out on injury we can rest our players more for the cavs tomorrow night
DWill would've been a fan favorite this year, with BJ and Rose pushing the ball.....
I think he will have a career year against.....
Dont know if anyone mentioned. Babbit, Johnson, Richardson, Winslow, Waiters are all out tonight.

wow, thats definitely a draft that should be done over..lol..
another reminder of why building through the draft is retarded
in regards to the game, this heat team is sort of like the wiz game, if you go in thinking your playing a 7-12 squad you will lose. gotta come out like were playing GSW, mike Tyson blows, 1st qtr knock out

I'd rather go all out for the win here, against a weakened team, and just take our medicine tomorrow.

Shumpert's workout blew away D'Antoni. He went from being considered a high second rounder to being the Knicks first round pick.
Hahaha..that Miami Heat announcer cracked me up on the knick lineup intro
