Knicks · Did KP fall in love ? (page 1)

i Have no other explanation why he is playing so stupid now, maybe he found a girl who have a bad influence on him ?

and somebody please tell him he is 7'3, he can shoot easy buckets all day, instead he takes stupid mid range shots all the time

it's killing me, he's looking like channing fry

His shot has been off since he went up to challenge Towns and came down awkwardly. I've been wondering if he hurt something in his leg/ankle and it meesed up his shot.

He's 21 and in a slump. It's fine.

No ill will for him with his personal life but I hope he starts hitting shots soon. Best of luck if he has a lady friend.

Yup...know the play you are talking about-was going to mention it a few days ago after a bad outing. He has not been the same on offense since then. Remember getting concerned when it happened, but he walked it off.

Shots are flat. I assumed he was getting tired from trying to do too much.

Guys, he's 21, second year. He's probably just tired and in a slump, it's not the end of the world. He may just be doing too much too soon, his shots look flat because of it. It only takes one game for that confidence to come back, shooters keep on shooting

I think his juices will be flowing against the Lakers.... he'll be playing against his peers in his age group.

Usually Knick fans over-praise their first year players, then turn on them in the second year. I'm glad that hasn't happened with KP yet

Honestly, some Knick fans are the worst- who'd want to play for them? He's 21, he's a second year player, why run with the 'what have you done for me lately' uber critical attitude?

82 games is a grind. He's still gotta get used to that. We talk about the money and fame but it's gotta be a drag to play that much basketball. Not to mention practice, pre season and the playoffs.

Anyway, KP will be fine.

We can't get on everyone else regarding their struggles, and then give KP a pass. He's falling in love with the 3 ball and not being more aggressive, drawing fouls, and getting into the paint.

This guy is too good to be settling for flat jump shots

Yes thats is my point, he can just hold ball high and shoot in paint, like he did couple times in first games, he needs to do this every game

I'm not giving him a pass. He sucks right now. He is TERRIBLE!!!! He looks lost as if he doesn't belong on the court at times. Maybe he's thinking to much or his "fame" got to his lil head. Only time will tell if he can handle being a star or become the go to guy for the New York Knicks. Or is he FOOLS GOLD.....

He's been up and down. I criticized him early in the year as well. I wonder if he's overworking in the gym and his legs are tired. Thats what it looks like to me... everything is a bit flat. He's in a rough stretch and playing poorly. Calling him fools gold is silly.

Only a few weeks ago you guys was ready to turn the team over to KP I said lets just wait and see. Is he a channing Fry? Or maybe he is not as good as we think he is. Or maybe he is a superstar. What ever he is lets give him time to grow. The New York press is quick to juice up a player. Give the kid time but in the mean time this is Melo's team point blank.

dude what the f is your problem. You dont have to bait me for shit. First off i admitted KP is in a slump but he has still been able to contribute in other ways. I havent forgotten your comment about me loving KP too much. Well im sorry but its been years since we have had a great young talent that has a major high ceiling....so sue me for being a fan of the kid. I hold him accountable like any player but this thread is still dumb

This is a thread holding him accountable. Not being able to make shots when DRose is out when you are one of a big three is an issue. Shooting 31 % for an extended period of time is an issue if you are the franchise player and pretty much for anyone in NY. I think if you respond to a thread speculating why he is playing bad by calling it dumb you have to expect posters to respond.
