well if we continue , which i hope we do, on our pace we might pick between 16 and 30 , would ppl give that up for him , is he worth it in a maybe deep draft? could he grow next to kp6?
TPercy @ 12/21/2016 7:21 PM
I think we have a good thing with KP, Noah, KOQ and Willy. Our first round pick should be used to better our back court.

For a pick in that range, I'd give him a shot. Pretty sure playing in the same division would give Noel added incentive. Not sure Philly wants that though.

Agreed. I don't understand all the nerlen love.

He went to the Media and complained about his playing time after a game...GTFO, step to the coach or GM, and grow up.

Noel was the rookie of the year as far as I was concerned. The kids potential is defense. Imagine being able to throw a Frontline featuring Noel and KP at small ball offenses. He's not a complete lost cause on offense. He can consistently finish at the rim, which is a skill I've kinda taken for granted in a big man. Durability is the only real question mark. A move like this reminds of the time we took a flyer on Camby.

Could Noah be someone they want even? Some guidance off the bench for their own bigs, just a thought that maybe they would like Noah as a trade target perhaps with a second or something.
dacash @ 12/21/2016 9:35 PM
how about the sixers get affalo , ndour , and our late pick, we get boogie to spit on our opponents , kings get noel and sixers pick

No. Noah is pretty close to unmovable right now. He certainly isn't a trade target.

callmened @ 12/21/2016 10:02 PM
i dont want to trade any picks for noel unless we plan on resigning him for the 20 mill a yr that hell ask for
yellowboy90 @ 12/21/2016 10:38 PM
The knicks could probably get a late 1st for O'quinn if they want so a 3 team deal would be nice. I think teams might be scared of Noel's lack of a jumper but the knicks need D and athleticism and Noel is that in bunches plus they have Willy who has O game for days.

with the new cap, Noah is being paid the equivalent of 10 mil per year. Totally worth it if he is bringing locker room vibe and leadership.

What would Noel do for us?
Do we like Noel more than Willy?
Joakim we don't want, but Philly wants him?

He is a restricted FA so I doubt he gets that.

Knixkik @ 12/22/2016 8:23 AM
He would be intriguing if we could get him for cheap but otherwise I'll pass.
fishmike @ 12/22/2016 9:56 AM
no no no

Give me a wing who can penetrate and I will make offers.

SupremeCommander @ 12/22/2016 10:40 AM
I would be more than interested in Noel. I agree that the Knicks have a good thing going. But Noel is the closest thing to Marcus Camby that I can remember. KP and Noel would be so fucking great for so long. SIGN ME UP - I WANT NOEL.
Nalod @ 12/22/2016 10:44 AM

Noel it would appear wants to start, prove his worth and earn that contract.
We have Noah and have made a commitment to. Is it right to bail on Noah after 25 games?
That commitment is also for him to move to a new city, not just financial. And As I have said before, we can't keep signing players and trade them.
As for Noel, I'll pass. We have other needs and I would not use a pick on someone we don't need.

This guy is complaining about his playing time to the media - PASS
