If he did that, the defense wouldn't be such a hot topic, because we would be avg more than we give up.
8 coaches and the players won't execute.
At some point blame is not the answer.
1. This is not a championship caliber team.
2. They have not played long enough to have built a culture.
3. Injuries matter.
I mentioned injuries a few weeks back not because Im some kind of prophetic genius, but because its a fact of life.
Few teams manage to avoid it. When they do, its a special occurrence and magical things happen.
Thus, I don't see the need to blow anything up. Our bench was playing great but inexperience has caught up with them.
I know "gee nalod, if you can't contribute....." Fact is our discussions are not contributions. Nobody on the knicks is listening in on us.
If Phil is frustrated of the lack of triangulation which has resulted in some short term success I'd be curious if they go back to it and play thru it even if it means losing.
Defense is obviously a problem but it was not a few weeks ago. Im not sure what the "Reason" is for their decline.
i wish people would stop about the injuries. Orlando was missing their best player (or at least their best offensive player)
We've played plenty of teams that have had their own injuries. It's not unique to us.
Most surprising thing to me is the current regression. I hope it is an anomaly and that starting tonight we get back to winning ways. I also hope that Jeff starts holding people accountable: you don't play defense, you don't play. Period. Enough of the trading baskets mentality; or let's have fun on the court (you're paid to win, not to enjoy yourself like it's on the playground)
Himself included, he gets a lot of credit when things are going well, now it's he players are not responding.
I don't see anything surprising about Noah. He barely played last year and was pretty similar except worse on offense when he did play. He's producing at about the same rate as the prior year too.

and somehow he thought it was a good idea to give him 18 million a year. He and Lee thats 30 million of under performing deals. Knicks are screwed, unless they fall backwards into another superstar they have zero chance of fixing this through FA. Melo will only get worse, his 1 out of 4 great games will fall to 6 or 7. Im so tired of losing, how can one franchise be so inept and constantly get it wrong. This franchise is turning into the Browns

Why the Lee hate? I think he's done everything expected and more -- maybe I'm jaundiced because I'm comparing it to AA last year, but I've found Lee a pleasant surprise with my biggest disappointment being I'd like him to shoot and drive more.

Your out of touch. The fan base has given your best player ample opportunities to prove everyone wrong.
Yes, I must have just imagined the last 4 years of trade threads, bench threads, The Trade Rape threads, Fat threads, MeeeeLow threads, team cancer threads, drove Lin away to 24 million dollars threads, etc, etc...
And yet you still stand by his game. Tell me how great he is again? Maybe you can convince me to keep him around even after his NTC expires.
Yes, and while I'm convincing you, you can remind me of all the great years there were right before he brought his game here.
he is ok but this is why draft picks are so important because what Lee is now is slightly better than a good Dleague player but he costs 10 times as much

Who said the team was run well before Melo got here?
