A trade with Philadelphia of Rose for Noel & Bayless would be a big upgrade for both teams.

This trade creates youth, balance, and is more cap-friendly in the short term for the Knicks. We could also throw in a 2nd rounder and cash to sweeten the deal.
Pairing Noel and Porzingis would be a dream and Bayless at Point would be a pretty good option to have at Guard for the next two years.

Depends how much money you think Noel would be signing on for in free agency. I like the idea of this move, it would give us an intimidating future frontcourt of Noel and Kp with Willy and Koq as really great bench players to back them up. Maybe the idea of drafting a Pg, utilising Baker and then maybe use Bayless as well has merit as an idea for the future at Pg.
So then you have a front court of KP, Noah, O'Quinn, Hermangomez, and Melo (who's better at PF)- that's way too crowded.
I have been wondering, however, if the Sixers are a viable trade destination for Rose- they were willing to throw crazy money at much much worse players. he'd help them sell tickets and may be the only way they get a FA to sign.
I think this would be a great trade for us. You would need a secondary trade to either trade Noah or O'Quinn to get rid of the congestion. I would not trade away Willy as I think a trio of KP, Noel and Willy would be an absolute nightmare for opposing teams in the future.
I think Philly is getting antsy. They have DNPd Okafor a bunch this season already. In regards with Ben Simmons, I think Ben and Rose would actually be a good pairing if Ben is allowed to play point forward and Rose as the slashing/attacking SG.
I don't like Bayless contract for his skillset but is contract as the price to get Noel is worth it.
