Hello, everybody, my name is Matt Castillo I am a huge Knicks fan and I am a contributor tohttps://elitesportsny.com/ where I cover the Knicks, Jets, and Yankees.

I wanted to share my post from Wednesday's night comeback win and the strong performance that Ron Baker had. Believe the Knicks should start giving him more minutes. What do you guys think?https://elitesportsny.com/2017/01/07/unl...

Baker phenomena is more of the reflection of team struggling to find identity and bad PG execution.
He is not some kind of solution but rather a hope to make things interesting.
I would not put our hopes too high with him.
When he will do good in meaningful games for 10-15 games stretch we can call new Ronsanity...

Seems like we find one of these guys each year who has a little breakout and becomes a fan favorite. He has upside to be a pretty good player off our bench as he figures out the NBA game, but probably nothing more. Similar to Galloway, just a different type of player. Still, Baker can play the 1 and 2 and if he develops and starts making shots, he can be a nice rotation player for a long time.

IF baker can also provide back up to Courtney Lee in and be an outside threat that would add a lot.
He need not star, but "Solid" is a welcome additions!!!!!

The kid came in, changed the tempo of the game, stopped the turnovers and was instrumental in winning an NBA road game.
That itself is reason to be hopeful!
Few players ever get that chance. The kid was playing for his life. His contact becomes guaranteed tomorrow!
