Tommy Dee at one point reported that the Knicks had a trade in place for Kevin Garnett. He's bush league. No sources.

So basically it's a tantrum. He won't talk to anyone but his buddy Noah.
F you Rose.

Great news.
Interestingly - they haven't shown Noah on the MSG post game yet.

Honestly, wouldn't mind if it was a package deal and we got rid of Noah and Rose together. Sad. I had great hope for those two, but both have been massive disappointments.
Maybe there is a deal in the works?

Hopefully they agreed to it before this game! Because he just cut his trade value in half.

NOt ready to make assumptions. Noah looked upset when he was talking with reporters. It will be interesting to see what the details are.

They just did and they were completely at a loss for words, pretty much.
Lets hope he is ok and that there is a legit reason for him missing the game.
It is just a game and life is more important but he gets paid a ton to at least show up.
Only the Knicks!
Even if you have a family situation, you call your boss and let him know. You e-mail. You have an agent and people who work for you. One of them can do it for you. This was done on purpose with intention to send a messsage to either Horny or Knicks or both. Rose isn't happy.
He hasn't realized the impact he's had on this season. He missed almost all of preseason and camp with the rape case going on. He has been a distraction and a major reason the team chemistry has not been right. He's a high usage player who plays selfishly. Yet he is also the best at breaking down a defense and giving us a penetration threat.
Such a shame this season went this way because we had the talent with KP, Melo, Rose to be top 5 in the East, easy.
The bright side is that we'll likely be drafting somewhere around 10 in the lottery if things continue and we'll net a good player. A 10th draft pick, a smart Melo trade, KP entering his third year next season, the Knicks may finally have a true re-build type of team that can be competitive.

Definitely. You know he had his cell phone on him and you know reps from the Knicks were trying to reach him. My theory is his "family situation" is either a temper tantrum or a true family problem that wouldn't warrant being allowed to skip a game. So rather than ask permission and get denied he just did it and planned to ask for forgiveness on the back end.
We were down 30 points at home, Just because Rose was out...No excuse

, Horny needs to change the lineup quick fast and in a hurry. Horny needs to move Zingis to the five
Just saw the ejection of KOQ...they'll call anything a flagrant 2 these days...on the Knicks!! When KP was up in the air and pushed by (trying to remember who it was)...that was called a flagrant 1!!! Efrin ridiculous!

It wasn't just the push in the back, it was also the windup KOQ did with his right arm before coming down on Anthony Davis. I am still not sure it should have been a flagrant 2, but I don't think it was that far off of a call.
