KINGS SUCK!!! They had multiple chances to win and just couldn't close the deal. We can't out Tank them

It's so annoying how bad they and the Pelicans are right now- however, jokes on them- they play against each other soon, so one of them has to win!

smackeddog @ 3/11/2017 3:32 AM
Well, we're in sole possession of the 8th spot, which seems to be our historic position of choice!
reub @ 3/11/2017 10:25 AM
I watched Markkanen play last night against UCLA and he is a definite stud. Nowitzki-like. Better than many of the other guys we've been focusing on.

Can he do anything other than shoot the 3ball? I haven't watched him (because it wouldn't make sense to draft him)- just the descriptions of him seem to be that he's the next coming of Novak

Fox just took over this Alabama/Kentucky game. Scoring at will.

Yeah he is dominating. He looks great. Defensively too.

Yeah is looking great. Can't see how the Knicks won't be very interested in this kid. Just imagine this kid with a 3pt jumper!!!

I see more Love/Nowitzki in Markkanen than Novak. He dominates on offense. Was the best player on the court last night including Ball and Leaf.

At worst he's Ryan Anderson in the NBA.

I think Fox went above Smith in the last 2 days. You're looking at faultz fox ball Jackson Tatum top 5 picks now

Knicks simply MUST get a little higher. I don't know if they can with the Kings and NOP throwing away games like they have. Knicks have those Nets games coming up which are gonna be hard to lose. Gotta hope the Kings and NOP pick up a couple of wins down the stretch in their easier games.

FINALLY the Pelicans win!!! Took OT on the road but Need a Kings Win now.

Markkanen is very much as skilled as KP, only less awkward and more physically developed, not a pushover. Easily see him as another Dirk. Too bad we can't have two 7 foot 3 point shooters on the same team.

Not even close.

Slower. Less atletic. Better power player, but less guard like skilled. If he was as good as you state, he'd be a lock to be a top 2 pick in this draft.

Ryan Anderson/Bargnani is more like it.

nyknickzingis @ 3/12/2017 8:59 AM
Where we are now, I have a feeling we'd be looking at Malik Monk. What's his NBA player comparison? An Eric Gordon type maybe?

I am hoping Joe Dumars. Or at least CJ McCollum. The big question is whether he will have enough size to defend the bigger NBA SGs, but I recall John Starks was also an undersized shooting guard, yet had a reputation as a tough defender.

Ryan Anderson/Bargnani is more like it.

In the highlights he looks a tougher than Bargnani. Plus, he shows some ability to drive and score in the low post. Dirk is not guard-like either. Definitely better than Frank Kaminski, and some people here thought we'd do well by taking Frank in that draft.

Young eric Gordon or Bradley beal. He will score in the NBA, the question is will he develop into a complete player.

dude is a stud at arizona. at the very least i think he will have a HIGH FLOOR in the NBA. should be a starter for a long long time. excellent offensive talents

meloshouldgo @ 3/12/2017 11:32 AM
I woukd be really happy with Tatum if by any chance he falls to us.
TPercy @ 3/12/2017 12:56 PM
@meloshouldgo Unless we getting a top pick, I dont think there is a chance in hell at that happening anymore. He has been balling out of his mind as of recent and is likely a lock at top 5 provided he keeps his play up in the tourney.
