Rose scored or assisted on all their points in the final three minutes. The problem was the defense and literally every other guy on the floor.
The bigger issue is - why was Rose allowed to play in this game at all after abandoning the team. They totally sold their coach down the river.
Also, let's be real - KP and Melo are both playing injured and it is showing.

Don't put this on KP!!! If you pay close attention to how they use him it doesn't allow him to get a rhythm and then after sitting all that time and barely touching the ball that was a tough spot. You can't develop a kid like this!!!

I am really concerned that Rambis is taking on a bigger role with the team. I don't have any information indicating this other than the team is playing like his team last year. Also, Begley today wrote that some of the vets are quietly complaining about the defense. I don't think the players can stand Rambis as a coach. These are all speculations but I would love to see what this team would do with him off the bench.

Knicks are on the verge of having a 3-14 month if they lose to the bulls and raptors.
The culture Rose and Melo bring is just toxic. Can't ever win with them unless you have fantastic defenders around them who allow the game to be kept lower than league average scoring wise and Melo n Rose just take turns.
I want to give Horny a chance with some new blood. I think he has good sets and good mind for the game. He just has a very toxic team.

I'll tell you why this way of thinking is a problem and should be pretty obvious. The shotclock is 24 seconds. If you hold the ball for 15 to 18 of those seconds, you have given yourself 0 chance for secondary pass. It's either you shoot the ball or you give the ball to a teammate with very little time on the shotclock. Why is it that the ball movement returned only for the last offensive play?? Precarious passing, I might add. If Rose had continued with the ball movement throughout the last 3 mins, other teammates would have followed the lead and it WOULD NOT have even come to a last offensive or defensive play.
That's how Thibs won with Rose. Noah was in his prime and they defended really well. Rose ran many of the plays. Later on he and Butler took turns.
You can be a good team if you have Melo/Rose and role players that defend incredibly well.
That's not our team or situation. We did this to get KP a taste of the playoffs and not be stuck in the lottery like Anthony Davis, Towns and others are. Guess what? He will be anyway.

KP ONLY HAD 10 SHOTS TONIGHT. That is a failure of this offense if he's not FEATURED EARLY AND OFTEN!!! I'm seeing all kinds of bad offense and a lack of purpose to what this team does.
They don't effectively use the talent they have to its max. We don't do everything possible to help make KP successful. Teams should have to run a gauntlet to get at KP all game. How is it we don't see highlight videos of all the great Rose to KP plays!!!
Even if by some miracle we made the playoffs Rose and Melo would see it as a way to showcase their brand and you'd see us be swiftly swept.
In a way it's good this is happening. Just like that miserable 17 win season led us to KP. This train wreck could lead us to a better place.

We are stuck as a franchise so long as Melo and Rose are Knicks. Melo should go somewhere he can play as a stretch 4 where he has fanatic defence around him. Many contenders could use him. I genuinely want good things for Melo because unlike Rose I know he's a legit leader and truly tried to right the NY ship.

Rose was starting to find KP more a few weeks ago. But KP looks like he's injured again. He looks gassed whenever he's out there. I guess it's the achilles? KP doesn't look right. He was like floating through the game, not playing hard. Don't blame the offense.

As I said earlier where are all the highlights of Rose to KP or Melo to KP??? There's something wrong if you're Offense doesn't create TONS of great plays involving the top 3 players!!!
