Knicks · Mr Trump - The Courtesy Phone please (page 1)

Given that the Knicks are your hometown team, can you please ask the FBI to investigate why the Knicks cannot get a game call? This is what it may take because its not only me who wonders about this on any given night - its announcers, pundits, opposing players who think its funny.

If the refs want to treat our players like felons, so be it. But the refs have no right to punish the fans or the integrity of the game.

fwk--were up 17 to a team that literally has no guards---why are you blaming it on a ref?

LOL, every fan thinks their team gets bad calls when they lose.

I'd rather see him tweet something like: "15 disastrous years: MSG board needs to vote out James Dolan!"
I have no idea what the process is but I think any company can replace its executive chairman.

The Knicks get less calls because of their style of play and they deserve it for signing guys like Noah. You have to see what the league is calling/driving and build around that. If you throw yourself into a defender in legal guarding position near the 3pt line and launch the ball into the crowd, that is 3 FTs despite not being a real shot attempt. However, if you make a move from the post you could get clobbered and receive no call. That is how they want the game played. Anybody playing that kinda style has the same issue.

Briggs, I created this thread separately because it has nothing to do with last night's game. The inability of the Knicks to get a fair playing field has been chronic throughout this season.

The first Boston game was iconic in this regard.

And this happens win or lose. There's something very fishy about it.

This has nothing to do with Dolan or any of the other whipping boys you guys love to beat on.

Now wait a minute. You are telling me the refs asymetrically call games because they don't like Noah being a Knick or that "sttye" of play changes the rules? I hope not. The examples you cite are interesting but what I'm saying is the other team will get that call on their end of the court and minutes later the Knicks don't.

Fixed games aren't "entertainment".

Right. 15 terrible years has nothing to do with the person running the organization.

If teams put itself in position when outcome of the game is affected by 2-3 wrongly called position it is not the refs fault.
The margin or error for mediocre team is so small that they are bound to lose more game that win just by laws of statistics.
Not only refs, but one player absence for whatever reason, schedule, etc. became a huge problem.
Team need to be build solid enough to overcome this obstacles.
And Knicks are still far away from this state.
