Melo= no heart Rose= no heart Noah= not talented Lee= not a starter in this league
When your two best players are more worried about personal stats then playing team basketball, you have a huge problem on your hands.
Can we tell melo and rose to not come in stay home . I'd rather see heart and effort on both ends of the court then to see stats.
Horny has to hold these guys accountable should have benched them at halftime to prove a point .
Horny is looking like he has lost control of his stars. Phil it might be time to put on your coaching shoes.

But that was the plan..To bring in well liked non controversial players who get along..This team is soft..

I am not sure about heart but it has no brains on the floor for sure. Not like we need bbal rocket scientists but at least something better that high school drop-outs.
stopstandthere@ 1/16/2017 3:18 AM
I think Galloway had heart, but he is no longer in this team.
nixluva@ 1/16/2017 9:09 AM
The team's top 2 players haven't lead the way by their own hustle and passion. Just compare how hard Lowry and DeRozan play for their team. It pushes the rest of the guys. They have to set the tone for the team. Noah tries but he can't be the only guy trying hard, especially at this stage of his career where he doesn't have it anymore. It's gotta come from Rose n Melo! If they can't or won't do it then Phil has to move on.

What do you think of Noah at 17M? Think that's going to be a problem assembling a roster going forward? Flexibilty? Do you think the bench is good enough to hold or get a lead on their own? When was the last time you saw Lee shut down an opposing 2 guard? Drive for a dunk? I see everyone pointing to the guys they want to score 50 a game and be superstars but no talk on how below average the other 90% of the team is.

That was the problem ever since we had Marbury. When your number one player isn't putting in his best effort on defense, it's going to trickle down to the rest of the team. If he doesn't play consistent defense then why should the players below him? And if he doesn't care about the players below him playing defense then why should they care? This is how it was under Marbury, Amar'e for when it was his team and now Melo.
The scary part is that the more KP gets exposed to this at such a young age, the more likely he becomes this type of player, seeing that Melo has been mentoring him.

Even this team heart, they still loss.

Maybe the negative fanbase has no brains.

The Wiz are a very good team at the moment. That was a good game. The problem is chemistry and with all the new faces its not an easy task. 14-10 was nice, perhaps premature. .500 is not a flat curve. We'll get back there.

I don't get this whole "lee's not a starter in this league" thing people keep talking about, when he has literally been a starter everywhere he has played. He has been a starter on multiple playoff teams. He is someone teams may look to upgrade from, but he has proven to be a starter for a long time.

Never let facts get in the way of whiney negative posting.
And remember, some people don't care about stats; losing games by 20 or 30 every night, but getting woodies over Langston Galloway and other NBDL rejects is exciting basketball.
By the way, Phil would have to wear coaching back braces and a coaching wheelchair at this point. And why would anyone take a 7 million a year cut in salary to do a job you don't want, when you're having so much fun Zenning your messages through third parties and not having to talk to the media everyday?

That's what I agree with, their IQ's are just sooooo low. Also the coach is to soft as well, but that's his personality

Exactly, people want to tear down a roster 44 games in..

yeah, move on to another team to wreck. He hasn't done a single trade that turn out to be a success, so why on earth should I feel like he can.
Phil sucks as a gm/prez and trading melo won't change that, it's only going to set us back another decade when he's in his log cabin eating pancakes and doing yoga
