Melo is such a loser. I'm tired of seeing him loaf on defense. I'm done with him. And, of course, he couldn't make that 5 foot put back to win the game.
Rose was fouled on that last drive (got hit on the head). We can't get any calls--even at home.
The Rose charge was not a charge; that cost us the game.
And another loss. Thats a terrible miss from Melo at the end.
I thought we might win one of Toronto, Atlanta, Boston and Washington but this was by far the best opportunity of the 4. Think we go winless now which would put us at 18-26. Just pathetic.
The tank should now be well and truly on. We suck.

might as well tank... someone was saying we have 3 draft picks this year? hey i'll take it over this mess.
I'm actually starting to become numb to these heartbreaking losses. I understand that in the final seconds the refs are reluctant to call fouls but Rose was absolutely hammered on his way to the hoop by two players on his drive. You'd think (just once) we could get a deserved call on our homecourt.

The charge call on Rose won the Hawks the game. Rose was clearly fouled on that last drive. It's really baffling how Rose never gets any calls on his drives with so much contact.
wtf just happened, Rose and Melo what is that ? basketball gods are punishing us for something
My only question after this game is why isn't Rose getting any calls? They played well enough to win.
Awful calls down the stretch, DRose gets zero respect from the refs...
Then we play small and can't secure a rebound or make a putback. Always finding new ways to lose, at least Horny is creative lol.

That was a horrible no call. It will be in the two minute report tomorrow for what that is worth.
Absolutely unacceptable to lose to such a awful team... we are so much more talented then the hawks ... the only thing we had to guard was the three point line and rose failed ..no call on a obvious foul as rose goes to the hoop... if I'm Phil I'm going up to the commish saying this is why we are losing we need fair calls
I can't kill the Knicks totally but they give up so many bad points. WHether it's Turnovers or blown defensive rotations. It's putting them in these situations where they SHOULD win these games but poor execution on the details kills them.

It's time for Melo to lift his no trade clause at the deadline and move on. We need to go in full rebuild mode. Enough is enough.
Melo needed to take that back up with authority instead of shooting a fadeaway.
Rose, got torched by Schroeder all afternoon in addition to 7 turnovers. Get him off the team now. Getting in the coaches face to get on players for defense, when you have one of the worst plus minus rates in the NBA is a joke.
Just move the team and put the fans out of this misery.
Oh yeah Rose has to stop relaxing on defense. I don't know if he is trying to preserve his knees or what, nut it seems like he relaxes on sliding with his man.

Once Melo came back in the game at the 6 minute mark, the team defense was breaking down on every possession. It's mostly due to him and his slow rotations. We cannot be any good defensively so long as he's on the court. I don't know if it's just lack of effort at this point, or that he can't move anymore, but he's super slow with his lateral quickness.
Rose was hit in the head on that last drive...Period.
Very strange that he does not get the calls you expect him to get. We see certain stars get calls if you breathe on them on their drive.
I'm not the biggest Rose fan, but the guy goes to the basket aggressively and it is amazing how many times he doesn't get those contact calls.
did baker foul out ? Why wasn't he in for the last defensive possession? As our best defender it would be stupid to not have him out there .

And how about the joke of the charge call against him when Hardaway was clearly moving to his left? That was the turning point of the game.

Baker missed a couple of 3's in the 4th and Horny took him out. I would have kept him in down the stretch. He defends and moves well and always makes the right plays. He was the main reason we took the lead in the 4th.
