Winning makes us happy.
Media won't write about these things, why should they.
Media will fuel blame so we continue to read their projections and theories.
We are told to be up in arms angry that Phil won't address us. That makes him smug and of course the money has all to do with it.
We are told his comments about melo stopping the ball might have caused his decline. Is he really that soft? Is players really this suseptable?
My point is knicks reached success because they modified their play to win now. When teams adapt and see our weaknesses, they found success.
My take is this is what happened last year as well. I think the plan was start simple as Rose was no really in camp much, then add more as the season went along.
At some point the players pushed back, especially those with expiring contracts and tent to play PG.
KP is an Allstar player in this league. When he was 100%, the team was better. He was carrying the franchise with clutch blocks and offense. Some superstar moments here and there. As one would hope from a sophomore!
When he is injured or sore, he cannot carry the team. He wants to play 82 games and then has to sit. MY take is KP said that because he was in a bit of denial. THis kid wants to fly.
The video at Disney seems so long ago!!!!!
Noah's play has been better. His energy and rebounding has been great. If his man is not moving out on him, and why should he, then he is clogging the middle. Noah is playing well, but he is now a liability unless he can hit a 15 foot jumper.
circumstances, not blame. Ambition to install that culture. Players not wanting to sacrifice for the installation of the culture. Phil's arrogance, Mills not really a front office media guy, and Melo's NTC are all distractions. Melo leader should not be questioned because he is really not that type.
Blame circumstances. Shyt happens. Stay tuned. Stay angry, point to blame. Be a knick fan. Not easy.
