This. Did you notice much less Melo in the post ISO ball? He was the weak side catch and shoot player with Rose breaking down the defense. This should be his role going forward.

When KP comes back, he will start at the 5, with Melo at the 4, and we can continue this lethal spread attack. With the way that Willy and Plumlee has played tonight, I don't really see Noah's role on this team going forward?
I get what you are saying but it is just one game.
MASSIVE WIN! They did it Jeff's way!!!

Haha, I mean I agree with you... but there have been like five threads the past two days saying to bench Noah.

Yep.

Yeah - unfortunately the biggest thing appears to be that starting Noah is a problem.
Rose looked like his MVP self tonight..You can't give up on this kid especially when it looks like his speed is back..He looked the best I have seen him with the ball in a while..Confident and comfortable..Lets see if it carries over..

COME ON MAN!!! You know in your heart this is the way this team has to play!
Nice feeling for a change. Now we need to string a few of these together.

He didn't force it and he had Crowder on him. As long as other guys step up.

Okay, so maybe I was not the first one. But what I'm saying to further add to the point...don't know what Noah's role is going forward? Willy needs his minutes; he's such a special offensive player and Plumlee is a young, stronger Noah with some offensive game.

This was a lot different from the Bulls win. It seems like it could be sustainable.
I'm watching celts feed. They just mentioned that the Knicks bench players had insane plus minus. Many w plus 20
At that point (near end of game) not one starter in plus
Game came down to fantastic rebounding. Big possession advantage. Celts killed us w turnovers. They protected ball well. We didn't but made up for it on the glass

Look at our Plus-Minus!!!! Starters vs. Bench
Remember, though...1 game, folks.
1 win is meaningless if you don't follow it up and show some kind of growth.
Just saying...
...F'n good win against a team I don't like, though.

I must say this is one of the best 4th qtrs I have seen him play just because he was comfortable in his role as a space player since Rose had the hot hand. You didn't see any defensive lapse either and had a great deflection on isaiah to stop a layup in transition.
However, like I said earlier it is just one game and we know Rose will not shoot as well and KP is inconsistent too.

It's more than that tho! This change of the style of ball is getting deeper! It looked even better minus Noah but this started in the Bulls game and without Noah we got to see the FULL VERSION of Jeff's style of ball.

Seem like everyone new their role tonight, and the defense was just better. Noah and KP are really realy bad at defending the perimeter, and he has a domino effect. Willy comes to guard the perimeter, noah and KP dont.
These players:
Lee, Holiday, BJ, Kuz.
4 players who defended and played with high intensity within the offense. They need to play more.
Willy and Plumlee:
Willy displayed special skills on offense and timing with his rebounding. Plum showed he belongs. Tough as nails in the middle and gets after it. Our D looks strong when he's in the middle. 110% effort guy.
More minutes for them, please.
By the way it was insane thinking putting Baker on Isiah Thomas..
