I think that Boston or another team that have 2 first round picks for this season would give us 3 first rounds this season. This draft class have some talented players. It would give KP a new start and maybe a superstar status. This will be good for both. Plus he is popular.

WE love the idea of draft picks but the reality is often not the same.
I would not consider this until draft nite until I know their actually positions and Knicks would be making the picks.
What if BKN wins a bunch of games at seasons end? Do I want to trade KP for the 6th and say 20th pick?
Sure, KP today has a sore heal and is playing not great. A few weeks ago we had angelic music in our heads when thinking of how this kid, with Giannis could be changing the paradigm of the game with superior skills and superior dimensions!!!!

The reality is, the draft is unlikely to yield a single talent like KP. Maybe 1 player, on average, turns out to have the elite upside, but finding franchise caliber talent in the draft is the hardest thing to do. But luckily, our front office, as bad as it can seem, isn't run by knee-jerk fans.
It takes luck to come away with a pick like KP and I'm not counting on our luck to do it again.

Because it's just a troll thread. It's not even remotely realistic. I will say something, Knicks fans never stop amazing me. I knew the trade KP and bench KP threads would come eventually, it's just inevitable with the impatience of this fan base, but never did i expect it so soon. Only the knicks...

I agree that it's a fair question. But KP is also widely viewed as a unicorn talent in the entire league. Why on Earth would we trade him for the potential that another draft prospect could be good? We have our franchise stretch 5. Let's build on that and try to find some way to improve our draft position in this loaded draft. We got a franchise talent with the #4 pick overall. Maybe we can find a way to get back into the lottery and hope we get lucky.
We have plenty of quality assets to trade for picks (Melo, Rose, Noah, Lee, Thomas, et al). Just not KP.

Damn I love KP. I just put that suggestion out there. I thought this is a forum for ideas and discussion. In my opinion everyone on the team should be open for trade if the right deal comes up. It ain't like we are winning a lot of games.
No sure where all the "lite" vitriol is coming from on this. This thread is not surprising when you have another sitting out there titled.."Bench KP"...
KP just needs to be allowed to continue to finish developing! There's no reason to bench him or trade him! PERIOD!!!
