I can't even imagine this is based on real information. Probably just another chance to get a few million clicks to drive ad revenue. First of all, LeBron would push for this. Second of all, they wouldn't have to eat the last yr of that love deal in 2020 which would actually be beneficial to them. Melo at the 4 would be an upgrade for them. It's had to come up with any scenario where this was legit. What a horrible trade this would be for the Knicks!
That's funny, I don't think the knicks want love a terrible defensive player who plays the same role as KP ... I think this is Clevelands way of spreading a false rumor to downgrade Melos value... Cleveland wants a steal of a deal melo is ten times the player love is they would be stupid to not take that trade ... the knicks would be stupid to make that trade .

Carmelo Anthony and Jameer Nelson joining the Cavs, while the Knicks would add Kenneth Faried, Iman Shumpert, and a 2017 first-round draft pick (from Denver). The Nuggets would round out this three-team transaction by obtaining Kevin Love and a second-round draft choice from New York.
A 3rd team would definitely needed. Too many parts. I would have to think the Cavs could get Melo and solve their PG depth problem in exchange for Love. Would be worth it on their part.

I also have heard speculation that LaLa is ok with moving on the with the way things have gone recently.
