Bottom line--Melo is out. He might be the best player on the team--but he plays a position that we have to put KP in. But we need solid compensation or hold till offseason.

Guys who are available for reasonable compensation Jennings and Oquinn Id try to get rid of Lanmce Thomas and Noah but it simply might not happen

Release Vujacic for the roster spot--no more holding a roster spot for someone who cant contribute #MTKGA

Start Willy or Plumlee at C

Start KP at PF

Start Kuz at SF

Start Lee at G

Start Rose at PG

Back up

Plumlee or Willy

play Ndour as a back up 4 to see what he has over 30 games

Lance Thomas as Kuz back up

Holiday

Baker

Obviously if we made trades other player would come here but this is the set up Id go with for now. Im going to see what I have going 4ward without Melo--see what I need.

I'd see if we can move rose to the sixers for OK4 or Noel.

Funny but I think our one best surest move is to move Rose. No way we should keep him unless the money is stupid cheap like $10m per year.

I'd even release him if I can't trade him. Just so I have no illusions about keeping him and to maximize draft position.

I don't think I try to move O'Quinn- too many threads here from Briggs about how great he is!

$10m is not stupid cheap. Rose brings more offense than Lee but way less defense. His play is not worth more than Courtney Lee. I would very much like to see him next year however, he brings something that we lack.

On KOQ? I get it - but to me, the one you have to remove from the equation is Noah- and by that, I don't mean to trade him- I mean you can't count on him to contribute in a positive fashion. at some point, the organization has to push him to retire if he can't contribute.

SO to me, your front court moving forward is Willy, KP, KOQ & Plumlee. I don't see the numbers problem there.

Noah is the number problem, and getting rid of KOQ does nothing to help in this dept, in fact it hurts.
