Knicks · KP said he was gonna get Dwight back (page 1)

I love that he's got that kind of payback mentality.
Gudris@ 1/29/2017 10:37 PM
haha, that was good

kp is also leading the entire NBA in fouls made...that is alarming to say the least.
Some of his fouls are sooo bad, and he really kills us with his absence, giving up FT's. Imagine if melo is not around

I know bashing KP is your thing, and that's cool, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I made this thread because I thought we would all have some fun and take away from all the losing. A year ago in his rookie year, Dwight then on the Rox, got KP pretty bad. I recall KP saying that he wants to get Dwight back. Here it was.
That's all it is. A nice basketball play and a little revenge for the young fella.

I can't stand Dwight- probably my most despised player in the league

Yeah but I was hoping we would sign him in the offseason. Atlanta got him for less guaranteed money than we gave Noah. I much rather have Dwight. He sets great picks, he is a great rolling big man, he can draw fouls inside and he can defend and board. I think we would have been a playoff team had we signed Dwight (who had interest) instead of the huge bust that has been Noah.
With that mind, the team was still not going anywhere. Rose/Melo/KP/Dwight would have been a playoff team, but not more than that. Hopefully we can atleast rebuild now that we're heading to the lottery.

This is exactly why they say you can't rebuild in NY. You already have people constantly bashing the weaknesses of a 21 year old player.

That is totally normal for young player, take a deeper look at that list, all other rookies and sophomores are in top of foul list, Embiid, Giannis, Towns etc. They need time to get smarter and do not do stupid fouls

Yeah its really insane that some bash a very good young talent who is going through the process. Its true KP does get into foul trouble BUT its not all his fault. Our guard cant keep anyone in front of them which puts pressure on KP inside and he ends up with more fouls. Anyway I like that KP doesn't back down but he does it in a professional way

I'm not bashing Kp, he's just part of the losing ways, along with rose not passing enough, and melo trying to always do too much. High lighting a dunk in a game he fouled out in, and possible cost us a win, is no fun for me.
Revenge would have been 25/12/4, 5 blocks and a Win, and fouling out Howard

Same here. He's the worst and I despise him. This "foul" was typical dirty-play tactic from him. What an asshole. He doesn't care if he breaks a guy's back.
HofstraBBall@ 1/30/2017 2:54 PM
In Da Face!! Awesome. Was shocked the refs called a foul. They only missed the other 30.
JesseDark@ 1/30/2017 11:36 PM
Seems like this the wrong thing to be excited about. It's like being excited that Nate Robinson was a 3x slam dunk champ.
