Unless we are moving KP to the 5, Love to knicks makes little sense.
Love to Boston makes little sense because he and Horford are sort of in the same position.
I'd like to see Melo moved. Love is an asset that can be moved.

Love plays the 4 spot just fine for the world championship Cleveland Cavs. I'm not sure why it'd be such a stretch to see him play it for the foreseeable future, especially if the intent is to re-route him to another team for picks.

That being said, I doubt the move happens if Griff is calling the shots for the Cavs. Been taking a closer look at Love and not only does he look fine from a health standpoint, he's playing some really good basketball. But if he became a viable option, I'd re-route him to the Pelicans for their draft pick. That way, the Cavs keep him away from a rival and we could still retrieve an excellent first round pick.

He's a stir the pot writer for sure, trashy maybe, but he has sources in Melo's crew for sure. If he got this it is probably from someone in Melo's crew. Many agenda's in play here. Lebron's crew. Melo's crew. Phil/NY front office. Cleveland's front office. That's like 4 sources of information. Doesn't mean Isola is lieing. However it could also be false information from Melo's crew.

So do you think Isola's source is someone in Melo's crew?

terrible return for melo from the clips.

regarding the Cavs - Melo is better than Love, but it is what it is.

2 1st Rd picks and 2 young players is far from a terrible return. I'm trying to be realistic about it because I'm not sure the love rumor is true.

The question then becomes: Is it worth moving Melo if we can still tank with him?

Of course because you are still getting some value for him and changing the style of play. You get to test out different combinations and what life will be like without Melo in the future. It gives us a head start to learning what that looks like so the offseason can be used to make the right moves.

Melo- in and of himself- has value. And if the best offer so far are stragglers from the Clippers, should we really look to move him at any and all costs?

The priority of this team is to build a young core around KP and we still could theoretically do that with Melo on the roster. So why should we take table scraps for the guy, especially when he's been a positive influence/mentor to KP and a stand up guy off the court? Let's remember that Melo WANTED to be a Knick and still remains loyal dispite managerial incompetence. That loyalty is something rarely displayed in the league anymore and especially rare with regard to the Knicks. I say we keep him unless he steers us away from a rebuild or becomes a distraction.

Tell what? Does nyknickzingis have any facts that Asshola has sources inside Melo's camp?? I'd love to see some if he does.

sorry, meant to say Love a stretch 4, same as KP.....
Pels rumored to make a play for Okafor with Philly......

Can we stop trading with playoff teams from the East? Cavs were desperate for players when we gave them JR and Shump on a platter, it's dumb to make your future playoff opponent better ( yes I am an optimist).

Cavs have no future. They've got 2-3 seasons before they become a middling team unless Kyrie transforms into a franchise player instead of just an "And 1" mixtape.

Now i'm still waiting for nyknickzingis to show me any facts he has to what he said?
