It will depend on what he gets for Melo and rose and who he drafts. If he gets some assets for those two and gets a great pick he'll have done a good job

Bro, he tried to throw Melo under the bus to force a trade and he got exposed..He gambled and lost..Melo played it well..It's all over the sports wires...If Melo doesn't agree to leave, Phil is done...I don't see how he recovers from the current onslaught...No way he shows his face tonight at the Garden...

SAS said they booed Phil at the Garden...

They booed melo the week before! How can you say Phil lost until we see if Melo goes. If Melo is still here after the deadline then Phil lost, now it's too soon to say.

Public opinion has sway against Phil Jackson..He can no longer play the games he has been playing in the press..He is getting slaughtered on talk radio..The most non biased guys Mike and Mike are hammering him daily for his antics and job performance..He lost..They both have to go..And Melo did get booed as well..

Phil needs to stay until the draft at the very least- the draft and developing KP should be our priorities right now. Move Melo and Rose (everyone is so quiet about him because I think we're all agreed on that!), Keep Phil til the end of the season, then evaluate. I'd still rather Phil went through to the end of the contract than see Dolan, Mils, or IT direct the team. If we finish the season with a high pick draft a franchise PG to go with KP and Willy, and have moved Melo and Rose for some sort of assets, then is Phil really doing a bad job?
