I don't want any salary
I will help build this team into a championship contender and will cause no drama
I will not put down players I will let the coaches do their job
I will have a good relationship with fans and media
All players will like me
I will treat everyone with respect
But most of all I can build a winner for the fans by the fans
# Make the Knicks great again MTKGA
Again Mr Dolan. It's free -- no risk-- even if I'm successful I don't want money. I just want to win
The way this organization piss away money you got ask for at least 500K even if you don't have any experience in anything basketball but watching it.

I would be ok with you have perhaps a role scouting.
But seriously, you do go off here in a million different directions. You hand out max deals to marginal players.
GM no, but scout, sounding board - I could see it.
I thought it was you getting thrown out tonight.
yeah, hire briggs... we'll change the roster every 5 days when briggs is on the shitter and has another epiphany, completely different from the one 5 days ago. sounds like a great hire to me.
I'll approve your hire only if you can somehow manipulate Dolan to no longer be involved with the Knicks.
You have zero patience- you're more reactionary than dolan!
BRIGGS could be our secret assassin to hypnotize JD and then convince him to sell the team.
This was meant to be a joke but I'd bet I'd do a superior job to anything done here in 15 years. The whole idea of running a team is also keeping your name out of it. A good team runs seamlessly -- name the GM of Golden State or San Antonio in 5 seconds-- you can't -- why they are quietly doing their job. I'd run this team as a carbon copy if San Antonio because I know it will give us consistency as a franchise . No triangle. No Stephen Marbury no trading pick 6 for Antonio Mcdyess no trading 3 picks and 5 players for Carmelo None of that I'd find a young coach like Boston did and let him do his job. I'd respect everyone in the organization because everyone from the ball boy to the star has a role.
The crazy part is Phil, like Isiah, has been a good talent evaluator in the draft, but neither President has ever played to their strengths and tried to leverage the draft. Maybe Phil will do that for however long he has left here. He's clearly not going to fix the Knicks, but he's not going to be here forever anyways. If he leaves the Knicks with KP, Willy, lets say Fox, cap space, and all our draft picks, the next President will be left in pretty good shape.

We'd already have Frank Kaminsky rather than KP -- so you'd be off to a great start with that PHD Briggs.
You think Phil did bad by giving Noah that big contract what do you think this team would be looking like with the guys Briggs would give max contracts to?? It wouldn't be good.

That's all I ask that's why I'm not as mad as I was the season after the 54 games.... I just looked back to that year and I was ape shit mad. This year Imy more excited than anything about everything you just said
I personally enjoy a good point guard run offense. I enjoy good big man play and rough defense. I like pick and rolls but love an offense that allows everyone to be featured. I like Hornacek as coach. Reminds me of Rick Adelman who is my favorite nba coach. I would basically build a team similar to those Sacramento Kings teams. Webber, Vlade, Peja, Bibby and Doug Christie with Bobby Jackson, Turkoglu. Pollard, etc.... that would be my blue print.
Briggs,
You have my vote of support and I agree that you'd do a better job
than what the Knicks have had for the past 40 years.
