I think people are concerned about it but remain hopeful that it can be fixed. There is a great deal of wasted motion on his jumper, which I think gives people hope that he can become a "good" shooter just from changing his mechanics alone. It may be faulty reasoning but given the potential upside for the rest of his game, I'd be willing to roll the dice on him.
Is this draft going to be better than 2015? Can you get a Miles Turner type player at 10 or 11? Or Bobby portis at around 17? Can we really draft a real cornerstone player in this draft?
Bump! What's an update of our draft seeding since we lost to the Sixers?

WE'RE BACK BABY!!! Sitting in 7th right now. The Pels are in OT with the Spurs and losing at the moment. If they miraculously come back...
Think the mins of melo & rose will start scaling back pretty soon.
Playing an angry Warriors team Sunday & then immediately flying to Orlando for a game Monday; could spell 2 more losses and letting the young guys take the reins for remainder of season.

Let's hope so. 2 more losses and Phil will have to call off the dogs and switch to Tank Mode. Let the kids play. This Sixers loss was huge. A win and it softens the blow of possibly losing to the Warriors. If they lose on Sunday that should be the signal to call it a year and start preparing for the future.
I can't believe how one loss could have such an impact. This was a bad loss for a team that had a chance to make a run at the playoffs. Now they're in a must win situation on Sunday.

Warriors looked awful in their last game and lost to a bad team- Green has been arguing with Kerr and they lost Durant, so mentally they're not in a good place. I think we'll beat them, unfortunately.

Yeah I saw that game and originally thought the Knicks had a shot to beat GS, but now I'm not so sure. The Bulls played a very strong game but really GS was just missing open shots they normally make. This could just be a temporary fatigue thing. They will have had 2 days off which might be just enough to get their act together.

usually when a good team has a bad game they come back with a vengeance so im not worried. I mean we cant even beat a d league sixer team lol. Im more worried about orlando who is in tank mode

I think that would be a tough turn around if the Knicks lost to GS and had to fly to Orlando and play them again. This is going to be a crucial 2 days!!!

The cannon placement is terrible, but should accurately depict us all on lottery day if our odds are good.

If we can manage to have the 4th worst record in the league, I think we'd have a realistic shot at the top overall pick. I'm hoping we shut KP and Melo down for the year to allow this to happen. Can you imagine Markelle Fultz and a KP tandem moving forward? It gives me butterflies.

I can't allow myself to get my hopes up like that 😜
I don't expect the Knicks to shut KP down except if he really needs rest. Melo should be due a rest game but I noticed they haven't chosen to do that.
This next 2 games will be huge. GS has been slumping but they can break out of it at any time. Then the next night on the road against the Magic could be a revenge game for them.
