Well unfortunately I feel the need to start this early this year. Might as well start to track the Draft position for the Knicks from this point. Knicks have hit the top 10.

We've got some stiff competition. It's gonna be hard to beat these other losers out unless we make some trades.

Have faith. We're only two games out of fifth!
nixluva! ...welcome to the tank side of things. lol
We need to jump ahead of a couple teams that need PGs. Would be nice to see Sacramento and Dallas finish with better records. Getting one of the 5 PGs is important. I don't want any chance at resigning rose or taking another gamble on a non-playmaker. Draft a pg and resign jennings and commit to this combo longterm for the sake of KP and Willy.

Man i'm hoping and praying for one of the top PG's in this draft. This team needs that so bad. It would make a huge difference to get that PG spot locked down with a true PG talent.
Markelle Fultz
Lonzo Ball
Dennis Smith
De'Aaron Fox
Frank Ntilikina
Heck maybe even Malik Monk.
In any event the other teams have been tanking for real. We've just joined the party in a Noble Tank. You know... still trying to win but still tanking.

That would be a great scenario, although my hope is we don't pick the wrong one. I will be looking forward to this draft more than any in my life as a Knicks fan. 2015 was fun but we had no idea what the real direction of the franchise was, and the idea at the time was we were selecting #4 in a 3 player draft. Obviously that turned out not to be the case, and we were lucky enough to draft the 2nd best player in a loaded draft as it looks now. But this is the ideal draft for us because it is loaded with impact prospects at positions of need and we should walk away from this having a real core for the future of KP, Willy, and our selection from the draft.
Knicks lose
Pelicans win
Heat win
T'Wolves win
Suns win
Bucks win
tank, baby, tank
Knicks have the 8th worst record now, according to http://www.tankathon.com/

Yeah it seems to look to me like a top 4 pick is what we'll need for one of the top 3 in Fultz, Ball, Smith but there is a chance that we could get one at maybe 6 with J.Jackson, M.Monk and maybe J.Isaac and J.Tatum going before D.Smith Jr.
am i the only the one who is concerned about the fact that J. Jackson cant shoot?
i think he can still be available player - like justice winslow or m.kidd-gilchrist
while I admittedly know shit about the overseas prospects, I do think the Knicks need a top 8 pick. I think within the top 8 the Knicks will have a shot to get a long term bluechip guard - which is desperately needed. We need a young guard that can grow with Willy and KP

Completely agree. We likely won't crack the top 5, so that takes Fultz, Ball, and Smith likely out of the mix, but in this draft, that's ok, because a 6-10 pick should still get us either Fox, Monk, or Ntikilina. Monk is probably the best player, but he's not a PG, so we will still have that hole to fill. Fox is a pretty sure thing as far as playmaker and defender, but his shooting is a concern. Ntilikina is the biggest mystery, but his upside might be the best of the 3 given his size for the PG position and the fact that he doesn't have a major weakness. Either way, we should find what we are looking for as far as a young guard to add to the core.

It's time!
