Media thrives by channeling blame and resulting anger.
We now get to blame Phil for teams woes. The only thing that suprised me thru this is that Phil is at the epicenter of this.
He was supposed to be above it.
Oak on Mike and Mike said Paul, Melo, Lebron, are the new Bill Russel, Jim Brown, Kareem, Ali. Had to laugh. Sorry, Ali was stripped of his title and sent to prison. Russell was subjected to horrific racisim. Kareem was carried a huge burdan of conflict until he was able to speak out, and Jim Brown has championed issued for years. Wade and Lebron have stood up to their franchise owners and proclaimed they are in charge. I admire they are more socially viable, compared to what Jordan was, but they are hardly iconic in moving the dial of social issues. Somtimes the issues and the times define who you are. Its not their fault they cannot define a generation as others have.
Jordan repelled against his friend Barkley when he was critical of how he ran his organization. I guess owners are thin skinned. In my book, there is no winner or loser here. Dolan is wrong, as is Oak. Treating Oak as a hero is stupid. Phuck the media for taking sides. I have to add Marbury to the list of players "stabbed" in the back. Spree, Oak and Marbles.

Still, we may benefit as now Melo gets good press and praise (before all the stories were saying teams shouldn't trade for him), also hope it motivates CP3 and Lebron to push for their GMS to save him.
