From what I've read he only kicked off after security started hassling him- I've still yet to see anything that warranted the security intervening in the first place. MSG employees say he was muttering about Dolan and acting "strange"? WTF? absolute crap- everyone mutters about Dolan while watching the Knicks! Yet to see any proof that he was hurling abuse at Dolan to start all this.

Same here. Also said that he was annoyed he didn't get into the elevator. Sounded like they were warned about Oak and watch him closely. Security basically followed him all the way to his seat. Oak did sound like a jerk when confronted.

he did, but I'd probably do the same if a platoon of MSG guards came over to kick me out of a seat I bought and should not have had to pay for in the first place
Dolan claims he's banning Oakley to protect the fans- absolute crap. He's banning him for being abusive towards him, at least be honest about it.
This whole thing is disgusting. I dont blame Oakley even one iota. I havent seen or read ONE thing that would make me think otherwise. Some people have complained about Oakley using his hands but I believe he has a 100% legitimate right to defend himself from what looked like an army of men. This couldve been handled much differently--Im sure thats why the security guy got fired--but I think its time for the NBA to step in again and start thinking about moving to new ownership/.
