for TRoss and #1 this year.
Big step back for Orlando, but they got something back to salvage that situation. Is Ibaka a rental or does he get big money from the Raps?
I think its a good deal for Ibaka.. He is not the same player and a lot of his numbers have been in decline the last few years. Basically Orlando traded Oladipo for Ross and the 11th pick in a weak draft for a late pick in a good draft.
That's a really good move for the Raptors. Ibaka is a stretch 4 will be a good addition to the team.
Actually a very good deal for both teams. Ibaka improved Toronto now and Orlando gets bailed out from a bad trade that brought in Ibaka. Ross is a good player on a bargain contract and this finally allows Gordon to move back to his natural position of PF. The deal only made sense if Ibaka was going to play center in Orlando, but signing Biyombo negated that. This at least balances them out a little bit. A draft pick is a nice added bonus for Orlando that might not have even been necessary.

had a deal almost done for him draft night but okc wanted a bit too much and got it from orlando.
ujiri wanted ibaka for a while and we will re-sign him. i bet he will take a bit of a discount too. this deal was made to keep him long term and just a few days ago ibaka said if he were to be traded, he wanted to go to toronto.
this is a really good deal for the raps. ibaka is a 39% 3 point shooter now and will be perfect for us in the playoffs. the pick that's going to okc will be in the 20's as it's the lower of ours or clippers pick (which we own).
Arms race. Toronto not playing well of late.
Boston is not trading the brooklyn pick for Melo.
Is Ibaka a Cleveland Killer if Love is done?
I know a dapper cosmopolitan kinda of guy that would be great for Cleveland!
Thing is, his wife is allergic to lake erie.
This is a great deal for Toronto. Ibaka was misused and in a terrible situation in Orlando. I think he will thrive in Toronto. Great move for them.

raptors 4-10 in their last 14.
the reason? injury to derozan but most importantly, injury to patterson - our defensive mvp and our glue. numbers don't pop out but his presence makes us great - problem is that without him, we had no other pf. had to play rookies and sully was hurt since preseason and in no shape to perform now. all star break can't come soon enough. going to be a interesting final few months and playoffs. if love is hurt, then it might open the door for some team to finally beat lebron in the east.
Nice for Raps...I think Ibaka killed his value when he decided to concentrate only on threes...He hasn't really improved the last few years..But he will help stretching offense and on defense...
good deal for both teams IMO... Toronto obviously gets great value and Orlando doesn't lose him for nothing

our offense requires a stretch 4 - patterson is the perfect example. ibaka is shooting 39% from 3 this year (slightly better than ross) - he will fit in perfectly. my hope is that his defense will help alot in the playoffs. with him and jonas, along with pat and bebe as the backups, our 4/5 situation is pretty decent.
This is the exact type of deal I would want for Derrick Rose. Draft pick and a player or two. I'm looking at the pelicans... that's a great way to get Holiday or Tyreke Evans if you don't mind taking back Asik....I would do that
The big plus for the Magic is they get to move Aaron Gordon back to PF, trying him at the SF was not going to work
