Hopefully someone gets desperate
I would eagerly do this. He doesn't fit here.
Minnesota, I'm sure, is interested. I wonder if Detroit or Sacramento might be interested as well. Both teams could use PG upgrades. Detroit is supposedly sour on Reggie Jackson. Maybe the Nuggets?

Article mentioned Pistons are frustrated that Jackson isn't getting into the paint or to the basket enough and we all know Rose will do that.
I think Nuggets are content to run thru great passing bigs Jokic/Plumlee and would likely stay away from Rose but never know.
Articles came out before saying teams were "looking" or "interested" or "intrigued" by STAT and Bargs as well.
Knicks front office gives access to specific people in the press. This is the only way some people in the press, esp beat writers, keep their jobs. In exchange, when it's time to let something loose to try to drum up phantom trade interest, the press lets out something just about everyone knows is mostly fabricated out of thin air.
How many teams can create even a salary match for Rose's deal?
Teams will be interested, if the Knicks cut him and they can sign him for the league minimum.

tons..
Rubio+Pecovic comes to mind. Kings have options. We will see. Rose is not a league min player. Sorry.

That's a good reason why they would want Rose. Jokic passing to a cutting get Rose. Rose doesn't pass that well so it works. Jokic would clean up alot of his mistakes and leave a lane open for Rose to drive. You don't want to leave Jokic alone inside.
It's all about the salary cap relief too... they might want to dump a contract like Wilson or Gallo... could work well for us if they want to trade
Pelicans want to dump Asik... Holiday or tyreke evans and Asik for Rose makes sense for them
Rose says the right things but he wants to be close to friends and family. Detroit is a possibility. Detroit to Chicago is like Philly is to NY. Nothing but a drive down the turnpike. Detroit could use the salary dump. Rose does play hard though so he might media better with SVG.

With Twolves we could get Rubio, which I'd be happy with if we move melo. However the other teams don't have anything I want at all (that would have to be included for the salaries to match), except for Denver who are too smart to trade for him.

I want no part of Reggie Jackson- do you?

No it doesn't- why choose Rose over Holiday?

Twolves are under the cap so the salaries don't have to match- Rubio for Rose works straight up
Rubio for Rose makes sense for both teams
Reggie/Drummond for Rose/Hernangomez.
Just made this shyt up, not read any rumor to this effect other than Drummond could be had.
I like Willy, a lot. Love the ball movement epecially, but Drummond next to KP could be intense.
Reggie could get re-educated, spend time at the ranch with Phil and find his inner child.
Minnesota has to be the team. I'd definitely do Rose for Rubio. Rubio is still only 26. In fact, if there are ANY teams interested in Rose, I'd probably trade him. Kinda done with him being a Knick I think

he clearly isn't the same player post-injury... anyone who says differently hasn't watched him play recently. If Detroit is so eager to deal him they probably think it's unlikely that Reggie is going to play like he had been before his injury

A lot of folks weren't fans of Jackson
pre-injury.

Why do you think it makes sense for the Wolves? To get out from the last two years of Rubio's deal?
